They still are good I use old the time.

I purchased these hoping they would be better than the Fiskars I've purchased over the last couple of years.. Fiskars used to be the absolute best scissors on the market, but the last several pairs I've purchased only stay sharp for so long, and no matter how much you sharpen them, they remain dull.. So disappointing.. I had never heard of the Red Dot brand but decided to order them based on other customers feedback.. I'm so glad I did... They're very lightweight, so easy to use with my arthritic hand, they've stayed sharp for months and I find myself reaching for them over the Fiskars the majority of the time.. They're also guaranteed for life! I'm not sure what that covers but how many company's actually guarantee anything for very long these days..

I love these scissors for fabric.

I had a pair of these scissors but stupidly used them for paper, which ruins any scissors for fabric use, so I ordered another pair. I’m not wild about the red/ black color and would have rather had more pleasing color. These are light weight for hours of work, sharp, easy to hand. I will keep these safe from paper.

Nice shears, nice weight to them.

These are the only scissors that my 'Lefty' daughter can use to cut fabric. (not all fabric scissors work for lefties so this was a great find) It cuts very nicely and smoothly and works for the Righties and Lefties.

I have a pair of classic Ginghers as well and I must say, that chrome handle just isn't much fun to use after a few hours. These Mundials have a nice molded handle and I find myself reaching for them over the heavier, more expensive pair. As with all of my fabric cutting tools, I reserve them for ONLY cutting fabric and they hold a great edge. This blade length is great for moderate detail work as well.

These aren't as nice as my old Mundial scissors that I have had for years. I thought these looked just like the ones I had but the hand area is smaller and so not as comfortable to use with arthritic hands.
