Perfect Shot for Wii (Colors May Vary)

I own the product (unlike the other reviewer) so let me tell you that this is the Wii gun peripheral that has set the standard as the highest in it's class. The Zapper is plagued by it's design to be held with 2 hands to shoot, while this gun can be held with just one hand and you have the option of plugging in the nunchucks for games that require it. When testing the game with Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, it is very easy to aim with and the game feels much more fun with the gun (in my opinion this is how Resident Evil:UC was meant to be played). The remote slides in and it is held in place so you don't have to worry about the remote slipping off. For those wondering, there is no slot for the nunchuck (like the Zapper) only a slot for you to connect it so that you can hold onto it with your other hand. It feels like your holding a real gun and it has a sturdy feel to it (of course the color scheme might not represent a real gun, but guess that's a minor drawback and really I think the color scheme is fine as it matches with the Wii). Also this is priced fairly when compared to other guns available and the other guns are not as good as you can tell from the reviews (exception would be the Zapper since it does come with a game).I recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a Zapper yet (or for those who have a Zapper and is looking to upgrade or is in need of another gun for multi-player) and has the following games: Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles or Ghost Squad and any upcoming games such as House of the Dead 2 & 3 and/or any shooting game supporting the Zapper (not recommended for any other games such as Metroid Prime 3)Note: The gun features a spring kick back (which is non existent in the Zapper). This feature is important as you can fire more rapidly. Before putting your remote in make sure you take off the wrist strap as it will not fit. Not recommended for game play sessions over 1 hour as your trigger finger will get tired.Update: Any games that are compatible with the Zapper will use the 'Z' button on the nunchuck instead of pressing 'A'. For those wondering this does not mean you can play Resident Evil 4 or Metroid Prime 3 with the Perfect Shot as it is not "Zapper Compatible" (please check the back of any game box to make sure the game is Zapper compatible or not).

Wii Perfect Shot Gun When i first seen this on the internet i was excited because it reminded me of the good old days of playing duck hunt or playing a shooting game in a arcade, so i had to buy it. First I got the gun at a really good price on amazon. Second the gun controller is well built, good looking, and functional. The wii remote fit as it says it will and the gun is easy to set up. The Gun works fine and the trigger has some delay but not enough to notice. The gun looks super cool in you hand and would be the best if it was black. You say what more to ask for then looks like a gun feels like a gun but The four problems that i had was that first you have to remove the wii soft gel to get it to fit, Second you have to remove the wii wrist strap to get it to even fit in the gun, Third I found myself having a hard time aiming with it, i eventually got the hang of it but i found myself haveing to over aim and point the gun upwards as compared to stright at the screen, like i said i got used to it but aiming for a head shot first took forever,l And fourth if the game needs you to use the top buutons while shooting you can forget about that game. If you have to use the nunchuck it is great but using the +,-,1,2,a,or the cross is impossable. you

A lot of people are knocking this as being cheaply made. That is just not true. I have one of the "original" white ones, before they disappeared, and one of the white & blue ones after they "magically came back".This gun is superior in quality to any of the other Wii guns that I've used, including the Wii Blaster (which is a piece of crap) and the Wii Zapper, which is Nintendo's chosen gun product. The ONLY gun product superior to this is the Wii Nerf Blaster (surprisingly), but which does not have a Nunchuk pass through.This gun has something that NONE of the others have: An internal passthrough connection for the Nunchuk. This connects from the top of the gun (rear, slide) to the base of the gun (where the mag well would be). I have confirmed that you **CAN** use this for RE4, RE Umbrella Chronicles, as well as House of the Dead, Target Terror, and even Link's Crossbow game by using "Wii Zapper" mode. This controller can actually be used with MOST games, as long as the game allows you to point with the Wii-mote, and uses "B" to shoot. Reaching across the gun to hit "A" can be a little annoying and cumbersome, but most games allow for a mode that uses "C"/"Z" on the Nunchuk instead of (or in addition to) "A".As a matter of fact, one of the main reasons the Perfect Shot is superior to the Wii Zapper is that you have to hold both hands at the "ready" position all the time with the Zapper. With the Nyko, you can rest your Nunchuk hand comfortably at waist level.In comparison to the Wii Nerf Blaster, the Nerf Blaster is sturdier and weighted so that it balances better, as long as you DON'T NEED THE NUNCHUK. The Nerf Blaster also has a button that locks the "nose ring" retainer in place, whereas the Perfect Shot does not (I've had it slip loose in the middle of "battle" before)The ONLY down side to the Perfect Shot is that you have to remove the wrist strap, as this can hang against the internal Nunchuk connector (this is probably how the 1-star folks broke it)The Wii Blaster and some of the other "Magnum" gun controllers are not worth considering, as they miss the point entirely by using the Nunchuck as the "handle" of the gun, which means you have to use "C" / "Z" to shoot -- and I have not seen a single gun game that supports this.

el mando entra muy justo, pero el gatillo funciona a la perfeccion y es muy comodo de accionar. La calidad del plastico es buena

Die Pistolen sind echt Super. Die WII Remote passt perfekt rein. Lässt sich einfach einsetzen und rausnehmen. Man muß halt den Gummischutz und die Handschlaufe entfernen. Wir und Freunde haben mit diesen Pistolen schon wie wild Chicken Riot gespielt. Man merkt es den Pistolen nicht an. Kein ausleiern, kein knarren. Sie sind einfach gut verarbeitet und sehr stabil. Dadurch das die WII FB eingesetzt wird und es keine eigenständige Pistole ist, ist das ganze ein bischen Kopflastig. Ich persönlich finde es nicht schlimm. Leider konnte ich bei der Bestellung keine Farbe auswählen und bekam was auf Lager war.
