This lamp replaced a fixture that had served my kitchen for almost 25 years—back then LED technology didn’t even exist. Overall, everyone is happy with how it looks, and installation was easy. I don’t expect it to last another 25 years, but I’m hopeful)

I was concern the light wouldn't be bright enough in my 330 sq ft large room with 10' ceilings. I didn't need it super bright, and mostly I would have it dimmed. But at times I would want it bright "enough." Turns out the light is great. I also chose this for the color settings so I could balance that with the other nearby ceiling lights in the dinning, hall, and kitchen. Installation was pretty easy. Getting a large light installed can take two people. One to hold it up while the other connects the wires and screws. I was able to assemble and install it myself in about 15 mins. I'm hoping I can program my learning remote to control the light, so I can get rid of yet another remove on the sofa. I really only need three settings: Off, High, and Low. Having a remote just for a light is not a "feature" for me. I would have been happier with using a wall dimmer. I ran into an odd problem of a 60hz buzz coming from my sub-woofer when the light was on. I have good shielded audio cables. I contacted LOFAHS support for help, and got some advice, but couldn't get rid of the buzz. They offered to send me a replacement power driver to see if that solved the problem. Since I was upgrading my sub I waited to see if the issue remained after the upgrade before returning it. It didn't, so I think the noise was the old sub picking up radio interference. That had never happened before, so I can't explain it. Since the new sub doesn't buzz, I'm keeping the light.

The light works well and looks good, but have your drill handy as the screw holes do not line up. Took a while to get it installed; NOT EASY.

We ordered this for the guest bedroom, as it is a good size for the room (about 12'x10'). The ability to change the color of the light is definitely appreciated.

I wanted LED ceiling light with some modern design that is more than just a white round piece. This is perfect. It is bright and got 3 different colors to choose from. Great for our living room. The only thing is that it is a bit pricy than normal lights. But I think it is worth it.

I'm a builder and deal with only high-end clients. Most of the lights I deal with are between $500 and $5000. For $99 this light is great. As long as you have realistic expectations you should love this light. The driver works as good as any driver on a much more expensive light as does the remote. The casing of the remote is your typical Chinese junk but it functions perfectly and between that and the driver it does what you want when you want. I read in a few reviews where the threads were stripped when attaching the petals to the body. I'm positive this was from overtightening the screws. The are no threaded studs that the screws are going into. It's simply the thickness of the metal which is plenty as long as you don't over tighten the screw. The petals are light weight and the moment the screw becomes snug stop turning. I also like that it remembers the last setting when you turn it back on again. Also, if you stare at it for 15 seconds then look at a wall while blinking really fast you can see the pattern on the wall.
