Well designed, perfect fit. Gives two cold shoe mounts to add lights or other accessories. There is easy access to the batter door and unlike the GOPRO media mod case, you can change memory cards and batteries without removing the case.The unit comes with a battery door allowing charging access or provides a usb port for the GOPROaudio connection. Unfortunately you can’t charge and. Attach the audio at the same time as both use the same single usb port.The clip on audio connection holder works very well however, I found that without the GOPRO audio unit, keeping the case on the GOPRO, TENDS TO AFFECT THE AUDIO QUALITY OF THE ON BOARD GOPRO built in mic, it produces strange results.

Perfect for what I needed to expand the attachments on my GoPro. Some people knocked the plastic construction but I don't see an issue. It's a great value and fits well. Allows easy access to ports and has the holder for the stupid mic attachment that GoPro requires for an external mic.

I bought this to protect my GoPro Hero 13 when I have it mounted to my Harley. Fits perfectly & I hope I never have to find out if it falls and hits something, but if it does I feel this would do a good job protecting it!

BUYER BEWARE! The Small Rig video clearly shows the removal of the OEM Gopro side (battery) door and the replacement using the Small Rig side door with a hole over the USB slot. This is so one can plug in the mic adapter without leaving the OEM door open. BUT!!! Once you install the SR door, it is impossible to get open without destroying it. I had to take a small screwdriver and exert fairly good force to get it off and it thus broke in the process.My question to Small Rig: Do you really intend that the user of this product would never need to replace the battery or remove or replace the SD card???? This has to be right up there in the top tier of stupid and irresponsible product design flaws. And to produce a video clearly showing the replacing of the OEM side door with the ill-designed Small Rig door. Someone needs to be taken out behind the woodshed!
