This helmet is super light weight and yet it feels right for its job. My little one is almost 2 years old and her head is 48 cm diameter, which is the minimum size according to description. However, it still fits a bit loose, probably because it also has a little pad supposed to sit under the chin for comfort, and that is a bit too big for her, causing the whole helmet to sit slightly sidewise. She still doesn't go very fast with her scooter and I think if she fells the helmet protects enough, however, if I was going to expose her to greater risk (i.e. if she was with me on my bike and cycling fast) I would look for better fit. I must say the pad can be removed and probably it would fit better but I feel it would be more uncomfortable on the chin and maybe too tight, but if she needs it before her head sizes up, I will definitely try withough the pad.

Bought this as a replacement helmet for my 4 year old as she would complain about her other one not being comfortable and it was loose on her head. This one was much better… the fact that you can tighten/loosen it at the back ensures you can get a nice fit that is comfortable for them. Looks fairly sturdy too. As she is unicorn mad we had no problems getting her to wear it… and when shes been out with it on shes received compliments from passers by!

My little princess loves it, but that’s because it’s unicorn lol but it’s not really any good for outside protection as it doesn’t go tight enough nor does it go tight enough with the chin protection!

This is the coolest little girls helmet my 4 year old love it she want to use it all the time looks to be well made and the adjustment stap at the back is nice so you can make it fit perfectly great buy

🌟 🌟 Wenn ich könnte, würde ich diesen Helm 1 Million Sterne geben 🌟 🌟 Er hat meiner 4 Jährigen Tochter das Leben gerettet. Sie hatte mit ca 15 km/h (selbst fahrend auf dem Fahrrad) einen schweren Verkehrsunfall. Ihr Kopf ist heile geblieben und hat nichts !! Absolut nichts abbekommen. Der Helm ist (äußerlich) heile geblieben, natürlich haben wir ihn nach dem Unfall entsorgt und wenn der nächste Helm nicht ein spezieller Meerschweinchen Helm sein müsste , würde ich diesen Helm direkt noch mal kaufen. Die Größeneinstellung am Hinterkopf zieht sich nach dem aufsetzen selber wieder zusammen, sodass er immer perfekt fest sitzt auch wenn die Kinder mal hinten am Rädchen „spielen“ . Das Horn ist aus Gummi und sehr weich. Der Helm ist auf jeden Fall ein echter Hingucker. Angenehm zu tragen und lässt sich leicht öffnen.
