I didn't like the assembly,sheet not very clear.had a time assembling

This tool works well for consistently rigging deadeyes--much easier than the method described in the instructions of most kits. The assembly of the tool isn't obvious, and the instructions are barely better than useless. I put it together, but I have no idea whether or not I did it correctly (but it works, so I don't actually care at this point).

For model ship-building; this has cut my rigging time by a fact of five. Highly recommended!

The instructions are extremely BAD. The small sketch provided doesn't help with assembling this jig. A blown-up sketch showing each separate parts with some indication how your hold them all together is needed. This jig needs to be glued together. However, a better blown-up sketch is still needed to do this properly.

I haven't gotten as far as rigging Dead Eyes on my latest ship model, but at least, with Amazon's help, I managed to assemble it via the more comprehensible instructions sent to me by the manufacturer. Why didn't these instructions come with the product in the first place???

This works great even on 3.5 mm dead eyes. Lock them in and run the line. Same size every time! Perfect.

This is a neat little device, that's pretty self explanatory.You will however need Elmers glue to assemble it.And it won't work for deadeyes any smaller that 3.5mm.

Nice little jig that does what it says it will. Instructions for assembly, what there are of them, need to be a lot clearer though.
