Very good book for learning japanese.

I read a lot of bilingual books for learning the Japanese language and I must admit that this one caught my attention because of using both polite and simple forms of verbs which is usually hard to see in the books because most of them are using only polite form and when you stumble upon the simple form you are confused.This book makes you understand the differences from the beginning of your learning journey and that is great. Even though those are books for children, I read everything written in Japanese because I find it useful for my studies. Which means that I will read more books from this series.

What a brilliant idea to have both casual expressions and grammatically correct Japanese translations. It introduces basic animal names, places, and prepositions. Very educational! It is hard to find Japanese and English bilingual books for children, especially for the beginner level. I teach Japanese to English-speaking children, and I'd definitely recommend the series to my students. I'm sure this will be wonderful for Japanese children who are learning English as well.

My daughter is going to be bilingual and it’s important for me to have a baseline understanding of the Japanese language for her. This is a great jumping off point to learn more vocabulary!

The book is really cute. It has Japanese as used by very young kids and also the version spoken more formally. And English too.The book was bent in the mail. It has a crack in it but I kept it because I did not have time to return it before giving it a a gift.
