I put the bulb in the light and ran it for five min. to make sure it fired up then unplugged it. The next time I plugged in the light the bulb was dead. Stone waste of good money!

I've now ordered 2 of these bulbs, and both came well-packaged and in perfect working order with no defects noted. Packaging included an oblong cardboard box (padded with styrofoam and bubble wrap inside) that contained the bulb itself, which was then packed in the larger Amazon cardboard box, which was also padded with air-filled plastic pouches. Can't speak to the longevity or ultimate value at this point, as they've been in operation only a couple weeks. But so far, so good.

I've used these for my bud cycle for a many years. I find that with pure sodium I get longer skinnier buds with these I get long yet fat buds. Wonderful option for buding or growing. Great light spectrum

Not long long lived. Mine lasted 3 months and then died. My ballast is perfect. These lights do not grow plants as vigorously as more expensive bulbs like the Hortilux. Not only that but you can't return them. No warranty.
