HABATerra Kids - Observational Magnifier with Ingenious Mirror to View Bugs from Above and Below

We take it on all our adventures. It’s such a great tool for littles-and us- to explore the things we come across a little closer.

Gifted to granddaughter and she used it right away. She loves it! Easy to use and allows her to see the bugs up close and then let them go free.

This is a really ingenious idea and fun to play with, so long as the smaller insects play along and stay in the middle. Unfortunately, the dome arrived cracked which makes the containment less secure. The magnifier wasn't contained in anything to protect it from bumps and bruises during shipping. Note that the lid does not screw on put stays attached with pressure.

The two year old recipient on this gift apparently loves it and has put leaves and rocks in for a view. She is likely to progress to bgs at some point but this viewer is handy for anything that will fit in it!

Purchased this and a few other outdoor exploration tools for the kids while they are home with me during Covid-19. The first one of these arrived with a cracked bug chamber so it was returned and Amazon had a new one to us the next day. The kids (7 and 3) immediately started catching bugs and examining them. Had a great time looking up close at a wasp, worms, centipede, spider, etc.. Then the 7yo dropped it off the table onto the wood floor and the bug chamber broke. A triangle of the plastic broke off. It was a pretty clean break and I was able to reattach it with some superglue and it seems to be holding so far. Overall it seems like a nice toy/tool for the kids, but to have two of them break in such a short time tells me that the design needs to be adjusted to be more kid/drop friendly.

easy to use and fun to view/ magnify anything! esp. cicadas!

Two grandchildren enjoy looking closer at items via this magnifier. Easy for their little hands to manipulate. Made of good quality and sturdy materials. Should last them thru bored periods, then they'll return to use it again.

You are able to get a really good look at bugs above and below with this toy.

¿Quieres sorprender con un regalo diferente?. Para mi, fue estupendo hacer este regalo. Lo combiné con un libro de insectos y algo más y listo.Muy resistente, trae dos lupas para ver la. Parte superior e inferior del insecto o la hoja... Es muy divertido para los pequeños.
