Crystal Cove Oval Meditation Yoga Cushion

Wow, what a great cushion. I was able to extend my practice to 20 minutes for the first time with no pain or numbness. The only drawback is that it seemed really stuffed full when I received it. Not much room for an imprint of my bum or sit bones. I solved this by removing 2 gallon Ziploc bags full of the buckwheat hulls. Now I can shape it to support my seated position with my pelvis rocked forward. Goodbye back pain! The fabric reminds me of sweatshirt material and the intricate stitching design is just beautiful. A wonderful addition to my burgeoning meditation practice. I just wish they made a zabuton to match it! While the price is a bit higher than for some other zafus, it is well worth the money for this lovely, lovely object. It makes me want to practice.

Great cushion for home ground/floor living. I’ve been following Tony Riddle (aka @thenaturallifestylist) on Instagram who has convinced me that sitting is much too present in our daily lives, so I cut our family dining table down to 14” tall and we now have a more natural human movement friendly place to eat and work at home. We have a few different yoga cushions at the table and I think the build quality on this one tops the others, though I would say when it comes to putting your feet on it and squatting, it is a little bit lacking in the buckwheat hull filling compared to the other we have that are a little more dense. But it does make it a little more comfortable when sitting cross legged, kneeling on it, or being in a 90/90 position. Overall, it’s my favorite of the cushions we have in terms of design and comfort. I’d recommend it.

I bought this to use as a floor pillow. I have super tight hip flexors, and I spend a lot of time gaming—usually sitting with legs crisscrossed on the floor. My chiropractor suggested using something that would prop my butt up and position my hips slightly above my knees, allowing the hip flexors to remain open and making it easier to maintain a nice, neutral spine. This was the perfect solution. It conforms to your shape, so it’s easy to adjust your positioning. It’s large enough that you can rest your legs on it while in lotus or sitting with legs crisscrossed, if you choose (for me, anyway—I’m 5’4”). It also works perfectly for my intended use: butt on the pillow, legs crisscrossed with lower legs, ankles, and feet resting on the floor. I’ve been using it daily for a little over a month now and I’m very happy with the quality.

This meditation cushion is every bit worth the money! It’s extremely comfortable to sit on and has really raised the bar on my meditation practice. I was previously sitting on the ground when practicing. This pillow has allowed me to align my back correctly and breathe deeper. I read another review that stated bugs were inside the cover. This was not the case. It was simply some of the buckwheat that had fallen out during shipping. I opened my cover when I received it and noticed the zipper was slightly open on the inside pillow allowing some of the buckwheat to spill out. It fits me well and I’m a larger female. I highly recommend this cushion. After several months of use it has not showed any signs of wear.

I am new to meditation but at least experienced enough to know that I needed a decent meditation cushion. I was using a regular pillow and a yoga mat and needless to say this was not exactly comfortable. I undertook the daunting task of doing the Internet research and I quickly learned that there are an infinite number of products on the market and some with varying degrees of reputation and reviews. This Brentwood Pillow kept coming up in reviews and consistently had very positive remarks and comments. Since this one had the natural buckwheat filling I decided to give it a try. After several meditation sessions I am now completely sold. The height and firmness are perfect. I no longer feel that pressure on my knees when crossing my legs and I can achieve a variety of sitting positions. I am 5'7" and weigh about 168 LBs so this was perfect for my build. The quality of the pillow is really nice with a very aesthetically pleasing pattern of the outer fabric. This should last me for awhile and provide a platform in which to continue my meditation practice. No issues with bugs as another reviewer complained of so I am happy to report I didn't have that to contend with. Nice to know that the outer shell is washable in case it gets dirty over time and use. This was exactly what I was looking for in a meditation cushion.

I am new to meditation and bought cushion because sitting on the floor was too hard on my back and although I have only had it for a few days, I really like it so far. It has a small but supportive seat and is comfortable for working on the floor along with meditation. I have even used it as a surface for my laptop and I’m sure I’ll find other uses in the future for it. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review instead of a 5 star one is because the zippers seem very fragile and I am very worried I will break one if I have to remove the case to wash it. They are a bit frail but could probably be replaced with better ones if they do end up breaking without too much trouble. The material is also slightly less of a quality than I was expecting but overall I do really like this product and hopefully it will last me a good while.

This cushion is the perfect height if you meditate, or are just looking for a comfy and great looking cushion to use in a variety of ways (footstool, sit on the floor and watch tv, etc.). I have a meditation pillow, but it felt small, and low to the ground and really never felt right (it is now a footstool). This cushion is big, very comfy, and has a gorgeous go-with-everything quality fabric in a very soft grey. It is lovely to look at as well as use.
