I have a Cane Corso Black and Tan Coonhound mix that I got when he was 8 weeks old he is now 8 months old now, I live one a large property but at ten weeks old I started socializing him at the dog park which some people are against dog parks, he started wanting to hump the females few weeks ago and sometimes fixate one, and the owner would get mad and I don't blame them and my vet doesn't want me to fix him until he at least 15 months but prefers longer, with the collar I redirect him with the vibrate mode with a command no ! and after a few times he gets it, this is the most important thing he's sweet animal unless you come on the property he will attack without hesitation and I was able to correct that unfortunately after he bite someone I was lucky it wasn't bad and I was caught off guard' with the sound mode only with a command I was also able to correct that' (I've never used the shock mode) it is a wonderful tool, my only complaint is I don't like the strap tightener and I changed it other than that I highly recommend it.

Looking for a new collar for our doodle. I searched and searched and read reviews. I liked that the brand was different from others and was family owned. From unboxing the look was very sleek. The battery life is top notch. I only charge it a few times a month. Granted we don't us it daily, but even with limited use the battery is long lasting. My only disclaimer is the string collar, many of the reviews stated this as well. It doesn't stay tight and comes loose but we have just tied it around which helps. Other than the slip collar I love all the feature of the collar. Having many different beep sounds is great b/c my old collar only had 1 sound, and we mostly use the beep 90% of the time. So overall great collar for a great price. Maybe they can go back to a different none string collar but totally worth the cost and quality is great.

Let me get this out of the way because I love this e-collar for the price. The bungie collar sucks and broke within 2 days. But based on previous reviews I expected this and had a 3/4 in flat collar ready in reserve. I have an actual ecollar (brand name) which I paid $219 (One difference: remote waterproof). The invirox collar has the same half mile range, number of adjustments, and has the locking feature. Plus you can add a 2nd receiver from Invirox for around $35 if you didn't buy the two collar system up front. (Amazon why don't you sell the receiver by itself?) I picked up a second dog and rather then pay $125 for ecollar's second receiver I chose to try this since it functions as well and is far less likely to accidentally up the wattage on the remote and you can lock it. Had I know, or planned to have two dogs I would have bought Invirox 's two dog system for $80. The truth is having two remotes is a pain so I am going to order the second receiver for the invirox. I hate to retire the ecollar as it is a great product, but for less then one ecollar receiver I can get a two dog system from invirex. I just don't need the waterproof remote control. My dogs love the water but both mfg's receivers are waterproof and I have no plans of diving into the water behind them with a remote. Besides, would anyone shock a dog (or even vibrate) while in the water and risk their dog panicking? I highly recommend this product but have a $10 flat collar as a back up.

I noticed right away when touching the probes myself that the device delivered quite a bit of shock at around level 15. I though it was weird, but since it's my first time using an e-collar, I tried it on my dog which was a mistake. I started increasing the level slowly from 1 and noticed no reaction from my dog at up to level 10. I don't know if it was because the probes were not making proper contact but I re-adjusted the collar, then tried again at level 6, and she just jumped up and squealed. An e-collar at level 6 should deliver nowhere near this type of shock. The unit was obviously defective and could be potentially hurt a dog. It's understandable with electronics that some units could become defective, but it's unacceptable that the design does not safeguard against them becoming hazardous. I see now that many other customers wrote similar reviews, which I should've read before purchasing this INVIROX collar. I purchased an Mini-Educator e-collar afterwards and found out that with a properly functioning e-collar, the stimulation should have nothing more than a tickling sensation on a human even at level 15 and my dog responds pretty well at level 10.

Used this for about 5 months. It was perfect! Worked great and did everything it needed to. And then it stopped charging. I would put it on the charger and the light would indicate it was done charging but once it was removed from the charger it remained off.
