The seller was very efficient and dispatched my order as soon as a minor issue with payment had been resolved. I am so glad I now have this doll! She is a very accurate and detailed figure showing the type of dress worn by Napoleon's wife Josephine. This was a particularly good period for women's outfits due to its elegance and striking features. This Barbie has a beautiful velvet dress with an attractive underlay on which is printed a fleur-de-lis pattern. There is also an intricate hairdo and fancy jewellery, and the doll herself has a charming face. It's also packaged in a lovely box which contains a very well written account of the history of this period and its effect on fashion. This Barbie would be a welcome addition to any doll collection!

The box arrived all crashed due to unproper wrapping. The velvet or the dress is faded ( long exposure to sun ?) The doll came barefoot. Really disappointed, because the doll is so cute in itself. No answer so far to my claim.

The clothes are very well made. The doll has earrings and actual eyelashes. The price is a bargain considering the quality of both the doll and the clothes that are far beyond anything you can find at retail stores.
