Extended it approximately half the roll as much as 20m away from wall socket, easy to roll back.Wishing to got different type of standard outlets socket insertion, it did the job anyhow.

We bought this to replace an old extension cable that was causing the house electrics to trip when used with a mower.We've been using this cable reel for a couple of weeks now for getting power to the same electric mower and it has been issue free and easy to use. We're happy with this purchase.

But I did keep finding the plug kept coming out of the socket so I consistently have to keep plugging my mower back into it.

I use this for my lasers and other things like a table saw and no problems whatsoever! The plugs can be a little stiff to plug in mind... which can be frustrating at points.

I had been using the reel across a private lane, and due to small amounts of road traffic from the 4 houses in the lane the outer cable sheath and part of one of the inner cable sheaths became damaged. I snipped off the damaged cable and rewired the plug. But at this point I now needed to unreel more of the lead, and when I tried to do this I noticed that the initial parts of the cable were covered in a yellow, brittle, hard substance which looked like expanding foam. The cable was stuck to itself on the reel for the inner 10% - 20%.When I tried to unravel it the cable was bonded together so tightly that the outer sheath split and the inner cable sheaths became exposed, making the reel too dangerous to use. I bought this in March 2021 (and have cut and rewired the plug) so I do not believe I will be able to hold the manufacturer to account even though it technically has a 25 year warranty against workmanship defects. I will contact the provider, but assuming that I am unsuccessful in getting it replaced I cannot recommend buying this product due to mine being faulty.
