Scopes in this price range are always hit or miss in terms of quality. This one is a hit!The stand out features for me are the side focus and adjustment turrets. Both are real convenience items for me, and I'm starting to pass over scopes without these features.Unlike some budget scopes, this item can have both focus and parallax adjusted and brought into balance. It takes some fiddling, but once set, there is ZERO parallax movement in the scope, and the eye relief and box become very forgiving. You can actually move around quite a bit within the eye box and still keep a consistent point of aim.There are minor chromatic aberrations at 16x zoom, but they are pretty minor. This seemed to happen only during periods of very bright sunlight, and were less noticeable when a cloud rolled through. Otherwise the clarity is very good once everything is in focus.Surprisingly, the scope is lighter than a few others that I have, while being physically bigger. I expected a bit more heft given the tube size and zoom, but was pleasantly surprised.Fit and finish is great. All controls operate smoothly and without fuss. The turrets could be considered a bit mushy in their 'click' action, but I think that's only if you get really critical about things.Out of the box and onto the rifle, it was only about 2 MOA left and 3 MOA high for the first shot. Obviously, that was ridiculously quick to correct.Context: tested on a .22 PCP pellet rifle, range 25 and 50 yards, partly cloudy conditions

The Discoveryopt is an awesome scope for the money! It is hard to find a First Focal Plane scope of this quality at this price. I have 3 on my PCP air guns and will buy them again.
