Unexplainable scent, but heavenly. It does stay long enough to feel it.

This scent is something I have been in love with since I first tried it on years ago- I was gifted a bottle by a family friend who brought it as a souvenir from Dubai, and I wore it faithfully until the bottle was completely empty. I am so happy to have found it here, so I can wear it again! I've seen it described as a 'powdery, musky floral', but I feel that the word powdery sometimes can make it sound as though this is an "Old Lady" perfume. That is very much not the case- this scent is absolutely timeless, and with the nature of how Attar is produced you can make two or three drops last all day. I would describe this as a warm, spicy, woodsy scent with the barest hint of a dark floral- it may not be as bright and springy as a more modern perfume (I know that perfumes with Pink Peppercorn are becoming very popular), but it is attention-grabbing, and powerful in a way that makes me feel like a femme fatale when I put it on. In addition to the bottle of Attar, I also received three little sample baggies of different types of Muattar and Mamoul, which for those who don't know are (very) basically similar to incense and are meant to fill your home with various lovely scents- one of the ones I received was a Rose Oud scented Mamoul, and it is easily better than any stick incense I have found here in the U.S. I will say that I wish the bottle of Attar had been completely full to the brim, but again- this is a product that requires VERY LITTLE to be effective, and I am simply greedy. I will 110% be purchasing this again. DISCLAIMER!!! Keep in mind that this is a perfume OIL, and not an Eau de Parfum, and so the formula is much MUCH more potent than a perfume spray. You really do only need two or three drops, and I promise that everyone in a ten foot radius will be able to smell it- any more than that will be overwhelming, and may give you a slight headache if you're particularly sensitive. When I apply this perfume oil, I put a little drop behind each of my ears, and a single drop at the base of my throat so the scent gets on my clothes. If you're feeling extra, do a drop on your wrist and tap your wrists together (or your ankles if you're feeling frisky...IYKYK). This is NOT a scent that should be applied generously. It layers very well with any softer perfumes where the main notes are Vanilla, Coconut, or Bergamot. I layer it frequently with Fakhar for Women EDP by Lattafa, which can also be purchased on Amazon for about $40 or so- the two together produce a very sophisticated, elegant profile that I get complimented on almost daily.

I'm a guy. I bought this on a whim. It's a fascinating scent, in that, it changes significantly over time. The first scent is a very bright floral/soapy scent. I definitely thought "not my thing." After about 30 min it changes slowly into a more woodsy smell. After about an hour or two, the lingering scent reminds me of Polo Green, a very manly smell, which happens to be one of my favorite smells. This is the first scent that I'm smelled that goes from feminine to masculine in two or three hours. After about five hours, the smell is almost gone. Most of my western colognes tend to keep the same smell and last a lot longer. CK Be, Polo Green, Aqua di Gio, Joop (to name just a few) -- none of these change in smell -- or if they do, it's very subtle.

It had very strong and hard smell. This is not everyone favorite. It absolutely not good for women. The smell is unique and strong. I do like strong smells but not this product. This is genuine product for sure as it has tamper proof sticker while you open the Box. I give 4/10.

I have bought this product before and it really smelled good. This time it is not real. It is kind of fake. Only some kind of oil and no strong scent. It does not last long. I regret buying them

This scent is of high quality and please believe me when I tell you a dab goes a long way with its intensity. It portrays two main scents to me. This is just what my take is and may not even be close to what you come up with. A fresh almost soapy smell something similar to Irish spring and then another scent I can't make out. This scent I also can tell will not age well over time. I can smell something that my grandmother would have worn but it's only a hint. She is an extremely classy and sophisticated woman and it's only a hint. I pair this scent with a floral spicey oil to take the sharpness off. It pairs beautifully. It's of superior quality and I love having it in my collection. May not be for everyone. I hope you purchase and enjoy it as much as I do.:)
