Holds up amazingly

I was really happy with this product! I was able to stack my most recent wedding cake with ease. It was about 80-100 pounds. The package comes with additional dowels and 4 different size cake plates for each tier. There is a hole in the center of each plate that helped keep everything aligned and centered. Since the wedding was on site, we were able to retrieve the plates, wash, and set them aside for another cake in the future.

Once received I was very hesitant to use for such big cake but it worked out perfectly. Cake is a 14”,12”,10”,8” and it held the weigh really good. So happy I decided to used them.

The first set of these that I ordered had a crack n the largest plate. I returned that one and was sent a replacement set. The large plate in the new set also had a crack, not as large, but still a crack. The plates have smudges on them, leading me to believe that these were returns and not brand new. I think that I will go with the "Fool me twice, shame on me" school of thought and simply return these without asking for a new set.
