I bake exclusively with date sugar and this substitutes perfectly for me with recipes that call for more refined sugars

I like the taste

Good product but is mildly sweet in my opinion. I knew it was not going to be as sweet as white or brown sugar. It was useful to me because I like to make an iced, alternative coffee shake and I add a large, ripe banana to the drink to add sweetness; however, I find that regardless of the ripeness of the banana it is always too sweet. This is where I find the date sugar helped since it cut the edge of the banana's sweetness. FYI, date sugar does not dissolve well in hot drinks if you want to use it for that. I used it in making cornbread and I liked it for that as well.

It's gritty and I don't like the taste.

Bland no taste

I ordered this for the second time. It's a very good product. My only issue is that it's a bit lumpy. This seems to be standard for date sugar, but I had others that were less lumpy. A 5 second spin in my food processor solved the lumpiness. This is a much better value that some others, but it is a very good quality, which is more important to me. I will purchase again because of this reason. Still good.

Delicious! Great texture and flavor.

I baked an apple pie with this date sugar instead of white sugars and I was very pleased with the results, and with knowing this sugar was way better for my family and I to be eating. I highly recommend it!
