Karcher 6.288-050.0 Pump Oil, Synthetic 15W40 1 Liter

OE pump oil, correct stuff when you rebuild pump.

As described and am glad it's an option to buy officially supported oil.

This is the factory required replacement oil for Karcher's pressure washers. For mine, the refill volume needed is 100 ml so this 1 liter container container will provide 10 refills. The oil is expensive for a non-detergent, synthetic, 15W40 oil of 1 liter in volume. I know of one US made equivalent that is $10 less costly for a similar container size. If frequent flush and refill was required by Karcher, this container size would still be excessive given the expected life of the pressure washer itself. So, IMO, good oil, but too much and too costly.

This is non-detergent, specified by the OEM to use. Simpson sells the same oil bottled with their brand, but their customer service told me back then that they ordered the oil from Karcher. This is less expensive than the SImpson's rebottled oil. When running, the oil turns white. It returns to light amber after it cools off.

I was pleased to find an online available Karcher OEM pressure washer high pressure water pump oil from Amazon vendor, MPartsman. This product was difficult to find here. The oil is intended for my pressure washer’s oil replacement.

I'm sure it works good. But you only need 2oz. This bottle should last me about 20 years.

I did not need this for new karcher pressure pump New pump did not say it was not needed as the old pump did need it.
