Which way do these face in your shoe? Directions were in chinese and did not help. Do the copper plates go on the bottom or face up? Thank you

The product description says "Copper plates go face down" but I hadn't seen that and at first put them in my shoes with the copper plates/bumps face up. Not only were they uncomfortable, but my feet reacted with the copper and had green circles on them. Once I re-read the description and turned them the other way, they were much more comfortable, and no more green circles!

Do you wear them copper face up or down?

Generally, use the copper down. 6However, if you have a bad smell of foot, it is better to use it in the upper side.
