How To Garden If You're New To Gardening

Very generic information. It was helpful for building a foundation, but I do not feel like it helped me complete any full tasks in gardening. It is a cute coffee table book though!

This book has sound and appropriate advise for newbies but is never condescending. Lots for long term gardeners to glean as well.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to gardening. So this book is aimed at me. I'm not sure this was really worth the purchase, though. It feels like something I could have read once in a gardening magazine or online. It's not really something I'll come back to for reference. And, it doesn't really get into enough detail to make me feel confident enough to start out in the garden.

As an urbanite out of town who is new to gardening, this book has been an eye-opener, - to learn the basic principles - to learn which tools are needed - to put theory into practice An excellent introduction to gardening. Thank you DK and RHS. (I also ordered other gardening books from you)

its a hard back book which contains so much useful tips and information Its clear and precise and colorful This lovely book would make a special gift to anyone who needs a little help in their garden Good Value
