Love this stuff
I found Curoxen several years ago and have not purchased another wound ointment since. It's natural, no pharmaceutical antibiotics, and it works better than the leading antibiotic ointments. My wounds heal faster and better than when I used stuff like Neosporin. The scent is interesting, I don't mind it but my mother didn't care for it. It's not an artificial fragrance. It's mild so if you're not frequently sticking it by your nose, you won't notice it at all. It can sort of liquefy in warmer temperatures, but a quick stick in the fridge will firm it right back up. It works just as well either consistency so I usually don't bother.

Awful product beyond the nasty smell
I really wanted a natural antibiotic ointment. This stuff is horrible!I went by the reviews and they were way too generous. Why? Because I want it to be thick! I want to be able to put it on an infected cuticle and it's all liquid. The liquid then is messy and smells so nasty my gosh my bathroom smelled from it for a couple of days No kidding.I sprayed my bathroom counter and it still was smelling. You can say that's a personal thing fine but the most important is that it's so liquidy it doesn't help. You want to put it on something like a cuticle then you want a Band-Aid to stay in place, The Band-Aid won't stick because it's not a gel consistency, it's so messy and a hassle.I ended up buying a quick thing of generic Neosporin which worked immediately.I very much wanted to use a natural product but this product is awful.

Extremely fast healing post surgery - UPDATED
I tore my big toenail almost completely off, sticking up at an angle and had to visit the podiatrist the next day. He anaethetized the toe and removed the nail completely. The pain was horrific. He said leave my dressing on about 36 hours then antibiotic ointment for a week afterward covered by bandage, air out at night. I read online that people were saying it would be about two weeks before you could start feeling better. I've had ingrown toenail surgery on both big toes years ago and they took their sweet time healing to my recollection. Once I started putting this curoxen on, the healing was rapid. Within DAYS literally my toe had zero pain in it, can put full pressure on it, walk normal, everything as though nothing has happened to the toe. I'm even back to taking care of our few farm animals (though I have to keep it dry and clean and it feels weird and sensitive to be encased in a boot or shoe yet so I wear a bag covered flip flop...there's no nail!) The toe looks almost alarmingly good and it has been less than a week since I started the product. I have a wedding coming up on the weekend and I think I'll probably wear heeled sandals with no issue. I would use this product again and again. Highly recommend.Note: it has a very odd smell to it. Who cares. It works. It smells like ozone if you've ever smelled ozonated products, must be the oxengenation in the product.Second note: it is summer here and the product is warmer than 77 degrees. This has made it liquid and it rushes out of the tube and also collects in the cap which is a bit messy. I think this would be fantastic in a glass manual dropper dispenser bottle, except people are probably generally conditioned to getting their "antibiotic" ointment out of tubes so it would be difficult to break the product expectation to switch to a more appropriate packaging. Don't turn it into a cream, though, because you likely have to add all these fillers and sketchy ingredients to achieve creamy, gliding gel like consistency.UPDATE 11/17:. I cut my index finger badly when trying to slice cheese. I asked my husband even if I should get stitches....a big chunk was gouged nearly completely off. I applied serious pressure and shortly after the bleeding stopped, I applied a bunch of this ointment plus a piece of folded paper towel and some hypafix tape (amazing first aid tape you Must get). Over the course of a week,I kept applying this once a day. After a couple days it was so good that I could leave it to air out at night with a sock over my hand. It is strange to say, but this stuff was working so fast in healing it that the entire finger underneath was regrowing and pushing the severed piece off within I think a week or so. It was completely healed in two weeks and the skin and everything is completely healed flush with the rest of my finger and I would be surprised if the small scar didn't disappear entirely very soon. This stuff is AMAZING!UPDATE: 5/18: I no longer use this product, not because it doesn't work. It worked! I think ozonated oils are awesome! But I've recently been made aware in the last few months of the hoax that homeopathy is (don't get me wrong, I'm a really Crunchy person!). Reading up on it I discovered the dilution is so severe there are no molecules left of the mother substance, just the "energy" of the mother substance left. I'm sorry but I'm really down to earth too and if it says there is arnica in something, there had better be arnica not just the energy of arnica. I've looked it up everywhere and everyone including practitioners are emphatic it is an energy medicine (new age) and is NOT a physical or herbal medicine. Well that's just ridiculous then.Anyways, it is unfortunate this company decided to throw some energy medicine in their perfect good product. When you research it, the power of this product is the OZONATED properties of the olive oil, not the homeopathy. In fact homeopathy is mentioned nowhere except directly on the packaging. Was this to make it easier to market in the natural world? All the benefits and germ killing properties is in the ozonated oil. Why is there even homeopathics in here? If you research ozonated oils, you will basically find their amazing health and germ killing benefits. Even holistic dentists are using it to treat gum, tooth and oral infections less invasively which avoids antibiotic resistance and gut harm. I've decided to skip the extra energy mumbo jumbo and switched over to buying my ozonated oils in much larger quantities from PurO3 and I can even get an organic ozonated olive and lavender one thru them. I have no affiliation at all with Pur O3, in fact I had to search online to see who sells ozonated oils WITHOUR homeopathic additions and their company popped up.

Nice scent - works fast!
I'm forever searching for new and inventive ways to heal the uncountable wounds on my eczema-prone son's skin. Because we have to apply products daily, they often become ineffective over time due to overuse. Curoxen is a great product and I appreciate the all-natural and organic composition, especially on my kids' skin. It works quickly and has a great scent to boot. I used it around the outer edges of my lips in attempts to heal a dermatological procedure sore, and it worked wonders in a short amount of time. The taste and scent was really strong in the lip area, however, so be forewarned. It affected the taste of food and water for the day. That being said, I'd say it worked in half the time other over-the-counter antibiotic creams have worked. My son has eczema around his lips and complains of this product burning a bit upon application. It seems to be fine in other, less-sensitive skin spots. I'll continue to buy this product given the fast-action and organic/natural components. Great to have another line of defense in our medical kit!

Smells Awful
It’s a good ointment, but the smell is awful. I usually tolerate strange scents pretty well, but when I applied it to a scratch on my face, the odor was almost unbearable. It’s such a bizarre smell.
