Neat Feat mens Zori Sport Orthotic Slip-on Sandals

I've been wearing these for years. I'm a martial artist and needed to get zori for aikido outdoor keiko. I saw this brand and that they have high arch supports. These are fantastic on my high arch feet and I always buy two pairs when one breaks. My first set lasted me YEARS and formed nicely to my feet. I really really like these and wear them all the time. Sizing was spot on. I'm a 9, got the 9, it's a perfect fit. Durable, comfortable, every-day wear that lasts through years of high impact athletic foot work. Very impressed. Will buy as long as available. On my third set.

At first try you might worry how stiff they feel, then 30 seconds in you will notice how great they feel and you will leave them on! They fit your feet so PERFECTLY that the stiffness is needed because how else to give your feet the support you never dreamed of in a sandal. If you ever walked all day and long distances in a sandal, you might say never again, but with the Zori Sport Orthotic Slip-On Sandals I can with no problems! You will also notice you smell like new tires, LOL! Don't worry, it goes away and your still in love.

When I ordered these sandals, I used the size chart. I am a 10 1/2 - the size chart said to select a 10. When I received the sandals, they were too short. They technically fit my foot but I'm at the edge of both the front and back of the sandals. Also, when walking it feels as if the sandals will go flying off my feet - I had to squeeze my toes constantly to make that stop. After about a block of walking, both feet were sore from just squeezing to retain the sandals. Overall, the sandals felt a little cheap in quality for the price. I am returning the sandals and won't be getting the larger size.

Several years ago, I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. In addition to this, my arches are almost completely flat. Because of these two conditions, walking or standing for long periods of time can be very hard. Every morning, I wake up with pain in my heel because of the plantar fasciitis. Well, I did, anyway--then I bought a pair of these sandals. I've tried multiple orthotics and inserts, molds made especially for my heel, my arches, etc. I've spent hundreds of dollars on sneakers made for people with issues like mine. While they certainly help, nothing has been more transformative than these Zori sandals. I wear these every day; when I get up in the morning, I slip them on. I take them off to shower and when I'm leaving the house. During times I would normally be barefoot, I wear these. They train my arches and reduce pain: my heels no longer ache in the morning; I don't feel that familiar slow ache in my arches when I walk, and I'm completely pain-free. My first pair of Zori sandals wore out after 1.5 years of wear. Considering how inexpensive they were, this was a great deal. I waited a few weeks before ordering my second pair because I was wondering if my feet had improved because of the sandals, or on their own. The pain returned after about a week: it was the sandals that were keeping my feet in good shape. I went ahead and ordered a few more pairs, because I know that as long as I have these, I'll walk better, faster, and without pain. As for wearing them: they're cool to the touch; my feet don't sweat in them. They have a decent grip on the bottom. Obviously, you don't want to go running on ice in them, but they're not slippery at all. The thong part of them is a sturdy but lightweight cloth; it doesn't irritate the area between my big toe and second toe like other thong-style sandals. I can wear them all day without feeling uncomfortable. Unlike other orthotics that hurt while your feet get used to them, they worked pretty much right away, too, which is nice. I know that this sounds a little bit melodramatic, but these sandals have made such a big impact in my life that I really want to give them the credit they deserve. For the first time in years, I can take long walks in my neighborhood; I don't wake up in pain in the morning, I can exercise longer and more effectively than before. I no longer have to make up excuses not to walk across campus to get lunch with friends, and I don't take the bus or car short distances when I can walk instead. If you have plantar fasciitis or low arches, please try these out and see if they work for you.

My foot doctor made it clear that I am probably going to need extra ankle/arch support to the rest of my life so I am basically looking at all footwear. I wear sandals a lot so figured to give these a try. Much better than my previous footwear and the arch is significant. Took a few days to get used to. Whether they hold up with time I don't know but three weeks in they provide good support. If you are just starting to look for sandals with better than average support, these are a good choice to start with, especially for the price. edit - I dropped a star because I feel they did not hold up as well as I'd hoped. After a season, they seemed to flatten out. I replaced them with another brand (EVERHEALTH) that seem to last better.

It was better than I expected and compared to other similar product I tried before. the support is there and I worn them like almost 10hour working in animal shelter and the pain at the end of the day from standing and walking was very mild compared to 3 other brand of arch support sandal I owned previously. I am a small built man but some how I find the toes section width is some what narrow thus I have purchased another pair of 1 size bigger, the length is fine though. I dont like the groove pattern on top of the sole where my feet rested, it needs a bit of getting use to since my skin is a bit soft and find the groove making it uncomfortable initially and also the grooving makes it easy to accumulate dirt thus I have to scrape along the groove recess to remove the dirt. I find the strap holding the band to the sole was thin unsure how long it will last. I like the color and wording on the band design. The band material is soft and comfortable enough.

Sadly however, they are a little clunky to walk in, ( maybe just on our hardwood) I'll have to try outside when the snow melts.

This is my 3rd order for my son. He's enjoying it. Top quality, solid rubber, and not some foam. Durable. Very comfortable to wear.

Communicating with the seller was non-existent. Queries were not addressed. Just totally ignored. The manufacturing defects are right in front which cannot be ignored. Worst part of the whole experience was I was really looking forward to wearing the slippers.

Nice pair of flip flops if you like to replace them every few weeks
