osfa = One Size Fits All. Cool, comfy and adjustable, it's the best hat that has ever been on my mostly bald head.

Q: How will this hat do in the clothes washer ?

Tag in the hat says: "Machine wash cold. Do not bleach. Drip dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean." I just washed it in my front-loading washer (with load of shirts) and hung to air dry. It dries quickly due to the nylon material and came out great, looks new, no damage. Based on other garments, I have found this type of material to be durable. Nice to be able to wear this hat for exercise/outdoor activities and throw in the washer. Love the hat! and own multiple colors.

This item/hat does not have a reflective material.

Q: What is the definition of a shaped brim ? All brims are shaped. Is the arch higher & narrower than the typical baseball cap ?

It means that the brim is firm in feel. I can't say that it is a thin plastic sheet inside the brim, but it is stiff enough that whatever is inside will prevent the brim from ever distorting. SUPER comfortable cap!
