felt like i needed to review this as it lacked people with wavy/curly hair! I have roughly 3a hair with spirals, that gets very frizzy and hates humidity, and my old straightener was causing damage to my curls, so i thought i’d give this one a shot, as it was on sale. It smoothed my hair in 1 pass at 180 degrees C, whereas my old one struggled at 220, and i now have a healthy shine to my hair that i have never had after straightening before. Overall, i would recommend this to anyone with curly hair. i’m not sure how it would work with 4+ textured hair, but as it did such a good job at a low temperature, i would highly recommend!

This is the best hair straightener I have ever had. I my opinion it is better than GHD in the same price range. There are five temperature settings and a lock to keep the plates closed. The straightener is very light and easy to use. It does not get hot on the outside so virtually it is impossible to burn yourself. Good length cable. The hair straightening result is amazing.

Brilliant is an understatement they straighten curl are so easy to use and keep my silver fox hair healthy.

Nice looking and light hair straighteners, good length cable, quick to heat up and do the job, however considering the price tag of these, I do not feel they offered anything more than lower priced options. I actually feel that my old Remington do a better job, and at a lower temperature. I had to use max heat setting to get my hair to fully straighten, and I also had to go over each small section more than once. Sadly I didn’t get the wow shine that I was expecting either. I must add I do have thick, wavy, just past shoulder length hair, so it may just be my hair type, but considering I had to use the highest heat setting and still had to go over each section more than once, I think these would still cause as much damage to my hair as cheaper alternatives, therefore, for me anyway, not worth the price tag. I think if you had shorter or finer hair, you may get better results, which is why I have still given these 3 stars. Definitely worth a try, but they won’t be for everyone.

High quality hair straighteners. Internally located controls can be a bit fiddly. A good feature is that the tip of the straighteners doesn't get too hot and so you can hold the tip for better control.

Bought this product a year ago, barely used it because I don't straighten my hair very often and it already stopped working. The plates stopped heating up. Their Custumer service didn’t help and said I just have to buy a new one. This is clearly not a quality product because I’ve had other ones in the past from different brands that lasted many years. I’m disappointed with Panasonic.

Hair stays smooth for a few days unlike my old Cloud 9's. Took a star off because it takes many pulls through to straighten, not one as described. They make a low hissing noise, evidently supposed to
