Firs perfectly
My Delta 34-670 table saw stock throat plate is a piece of metal and making a zero clearance replacement in the shop would have been complex and time consuming. This insert is beautifully made and fit perfectly without need of shiming. Installed a MicroJig splitter and everything is working great.

A top Quality insert for very little cash.
This insert fitted the opening in the table and sat about 10 thou below the surface of the table. A piece of adhesive tape as a shim and the fit was perfect. Clamped a stout board over the insert, raised the blade a couple of times and instalation was done. Something that previously took me a lot of time and messing around is complete in less than 5 mins and the final result is far better than I could have made from MDF or solid hardwood, making this one of the most cost and time effective saw upgrades you could make..Some reviews have made a big deal about the insert sitting below the table surface when first dropped in the opening. I belive this is better than having to try and remove material from the insert when it sits high, and is almost certianly a result of the variation in the manufacture of the saw tables and the makers of the insert have taken this variation in depth of shoulder in the saw table into account in their design. If they are really unhappy with the product, let them make something better, I know I couldn't do better.

Does the job, but.........
Another review here by Scott tipped me off to the problem of the Leecraft Insert not setting fully down into the blade opening. I have a Delta 10" model 36-600 saw which supposedly uses the Leecraft DL-2 Insert. There definitely is a problem. The back of the DL-2 Insert has two milled-out sections adjacent to the mounting screw holes that allow for the table casting protubrances for insert mounting screws. The Leecraft Insert milling is not deep enough and the Insert 'rocks' on these protrusions. Correction was easy using a router to deepen the Leecraft Insert milled-out sections to permit the Insert to sit in the opening without bottoming on the protrusions. Took no more than 3-4 minutes. Once that's done, the Insert sits nicely but may have to be shimmed (as the instructions say) to be perfectly flush. Mine was OK. BIG difference in making nice saw cuts on wood though, and if you want clean cuts ...buy one or make one. Buying one I think is a lot less hassle since it is made of a phenolic material that you definitely would have to hunt around for and wouldn't find at any hardware or lumber yard.

Fits My Delta TS-300 10" table Saw Like a Glove
I have looked long and hard for a zero-clearance insert for my table saw. All the higher priced table saws seemed to have one available for their model but I could never find one for mine. I was prepared to try and make my own. Then I stumbled across this insert by Leecraft. It matched my stock metal insert to a "T."Installation was easy, took no more than 10 minutes. I suggest you wear a mask when you raise the blade to make the initial cut with your saw blade to establish the channel -- the burned composite material of this insert stinks to high heaven. I used a dremel tool to smooth out some high spots on the support ridge that sorrounds the insert. But everything else lined up -- height was perfect, screws holes matched, and the insert fit precisely from edge-to-edge in the saw table's blade opening cut-out. Now I can't wait to use it.If you have a TS-300, this is the insert to buy.

Make sure you verify that it fits
Sorry it doesnt fit my machine. Not sure if the add reads wrong or i just picked the wrong one but this is the one that came up in my search. Looks like a great product though.

Amazing customer service!
I have an older Delta 34-670, and purchased this to work with smaller items. The lip that rests on on the edge of the table top opening was about a mm. too thick for my table, causing it to stick up above the surface. Not knowing the best way to make it thinner without weakening it, I contacted the manufacturer. He (Ron Lee) asked if he could come and see what the issue was! Turns out Leecraft is “only” two hours away, and the owner took the time to visit! He evaluated the situation (including taking measurements of my table opening) and recommended routing down the very edge of the insert. He even offered to rout it for me, which I declined out of pride... Once trimmed, it works great. I highly recommend this product (and its manufacturer!)

Insert protrudes above table saw surface
Quality is really good, but accuracy is not. Both inserts I ordered stand proud of the table saw surface by 20 thousandths (0.5mm). Will require milling the under side pads before use. Buyer be aware.

Fit Delta Perfectly
I was not sure how this would work on my old delta 34-670 table saw, but it fit like a glove. Also it is difficult to tell in the description, but the insert does have a lip to hold it in the table top. It is not a full 1/2" all the way around.Installation was easy. Set the blade all the way down. Then placed insert into table top. Clamped a 1"x2" on top of the insert (do not put clamps above blade). Then turned on the saw and slowly raised the blade to full height. It was easy.I also added a splitter to the insert, although it is not shown in the pictures. MJ SPLITTER Table Saw Safety Splitter and Riving Knife Alternative for Zero Clearance Insert
