Does what it says on the tin
I bought this to replace a stand which had gone stiff and broke when I tried to collapse it. This is a slightly different design but expands and collapses a lot easier than my original one. When in use, my laptop (an HP probook), is nice and stable when typing, is held in place by the little hook things it sits in and the arms are in no danger of collapsing because of the design of the arms and the slots they sit in. Comes with a carry bag, and I'm more than happy with this stand. Would be happy to recommend to a friend.

Lightweight & Portable
I bought this for work and it's lightweight and portable. It comes with a nice bag for storage when not using it and doesn't take too much room in my Laptop Bag.

Good functionality and a very good price.
Yoshine's "Premium Aluminium Foldable Laptop Stand" does pretty much everything that it promises; being lightweight (thanks to the light alloy construction), folding down into a compact size (easily popped into a bag or a deep inside pocket) and providing support and adjustment (viewing angle) for laptops and tablets. A laptop stand is one of those things that I regard as 'non-essential', right up to the point that I try / use one, then I'm left wondering 'why didn't I have one of these before!?'. The ability to 'lift' a laptop (or tablet) from sitting flat on a desk (or having to hold a tablet in my hand) makes life much easier, but also helps performance (better cooling of my laptop and less fatigue for me). Yoshine's 'stand' is nicely made, with near all aluminium / alloy construction (save for the pivot points and the silicon, anti-slip pads) making is light and portable. The folding action is smooth, with a central 'scissor' type arrangement. Height / angle is set through six (6x) positions by slotting two (one each side) supports into slots. Simple and effective. The only drawback I've had is in 'adjusting' the position; be it the position on my desk or wanting to adjust the angle of the unit. With a laptop of tablet in situ' I'd advise moving the item from the bottom and NOT from the top edge. Trying to move from the top invariably 'lifts' the device and can cause the support / legs to come out of the slots, leaving you to juggling things with one hand, while using the other to re-seat the support legs into a suitable slot. Having a wider or finer range of adjustment would also be nice, but that would no doubt detract from the simplicity of the frame and make a less sturdy structure. Everything appears to be well made, with rounded edges and a nice anodised (clear / silver) finish. The silicon pads are also a nice touch, as they're strategically placed to help prevent your laptop tablet from sliding around (and also help not to mark the device). Yoshine also supply a 'velvet' (effect) pouch, with a draw-string, for transport and storage, so for the price (current on offer) it represents good functionality and a very good price.

Brilliant Idea, But slightly underdone manufacturing
Ok there are ups and downs. Amazing design and idea, aesthetics, the sleeve it comes with, works amazingly. However, it came and one of the pegs (on which it stands) was looser than the other. In fact one whole side had slightly loose hinges. But it worked great nonetheless. This was however annoying how one side wouldn’t budge with gravity unless you actually moved it, as it should. The other would flop open. Again, still functioned 100% well when u set it up. I dropped it a couple times and the middle circular hinge broke off so now i taped it so it can’t fold into a stick anymore. Not a huge issue but not the ideal either. Anyone know the name of that rotating piece? Overall a good product, just needs some more tweaks in the final making of it. Thank you

Does the job
Just what I needed to ensure laptop has enough airflow as it sits on the desk permanently connected to a monitor. Folds up easily and is light enough to carry with the laptop for travel. Solid enough.

Great for homeworking
Working from home laptop supplied by employer but no stand. I use a PC at home. This is great.

Not worth the money if you have a 15 in laptop. Laptop doesn't remain stable at all

No problems. Works great. Love it. Sturdy, very light, easily adjustable, many height options, and comfortable on my wrists. As expected, the feet hooks do protrude up a little bit, but they are no bother. Once set up, the little feet hooks are stationary regardless of height adjustment and they spread out to just outside the touchpad (13" macbook pro, 2020). No slipping or sliding whatsoever due to the thick and protective rubber pads that are placed above and below the stand. This means no part of the metal is ever touching the computer or desk surface. Those little pads seem pretty strongly glued on and unlikely to fall off, but if they ever do fall off for whatever reason, I imagine it could easily be superglued back on. This portable stand is a whole lot cheaper and I like it so much better than the three different non-portable stands I have used in the past.

It's pretty sturdy, i got it for my 15.6 inch laptop I have had for 2 years almost and it overheated A LOT so I needed something to help it breath, and it is pretty sturdy and seems durable, I got it today 8/3/21. So I'll wait until I start college to actually tell, and it helps with people who tend to work/play standing up.

The device appears to have similar forms supplied by many other companies, but it has that due to its ease of us. It opens up by spreading apart readily and with limited effort. It is intuitive to use. There is a storage sac for the device which perhaps is 8 x 2 x 1.5" in size and maybe 4 ounces when folded up. It will hold a laptop or maybe even a book at an angle, though it likely works more easily for a tablet pc where there is no screen lid to drop down on its hinge. If the device placed on this stand is not trying to close, the stand itself is not likely to bring any other concern to your possible objection.

Nice aluminum frame, pretty sturdy for my MacBook Air, I just wish it can go a little higher. But overall great stand for the price.
