I bought these lights for my mobile DJ set up during halloween. I recently used 3 of these UV lights for a middle school dance with around 100 students in the school cafeteria and these lights did not dissapoint at all very bright lit up the room with just 3 lights easy to use, just plug in click the on switch and ready to go. I really like that is has a built in on/off switch on the power cord and the power cord itself does not come off it is built in as well. With most DJ lighting power cords disconnect and you might lose the cord at some point. These lights are built very well, very sturdy metal frame seems like they can hold up over time and led lights are a plus and will last. I recommend these UV lights to anyone you don't have to be a lighting professional. These UV lights are perfect for those glow in the dark parties, halloween parties or even your own haunted house. Excellent light for the price such a great value.

This is very bright, much better than a cheap blacklight bulb you could buy at your local hardware store. I purchased two to cover both sides of a blacklight poster room, and it looks great! Can't go wrong with this. The first one I purchased a year ago, it's frequently on and it still works great!

These lights are amazing! I originally bought a regular florescent blacklight and was happy with it until I bought this bad boy. It is so much brighter and covered a lot more square footage. We were in a long room and I ended up needing one more so there would be one light on each side of the room. The light from the florescent bulbs extend only a foot or so in front of them and I would've needed at least 10 to even begin to get the same coverage of one LED which covered at least 10-15 feet. I was very happy with the end result and ended up giving away the lame florescent light. LED is the way to go. Just don't look at the lights by mistake. They are bright and you will see spots. Don't ask me how I know.

This light is awesome! Fills a large space with black light and is sturdy. We used it in a large garage and mounted it near the ceiling. It worked amazing, it was easy to use and I would definitely recommend!

Great overall black light (9LED)! I have some complaints about it though. I'll separate it into pros and cons to make things easier for you. Pros: -extremely intense -truley UV light (many sold are just purple. This is the real deal) -fairly sturdy (has glass cover) -fills an entire room with UV easily -has been running reliably for hours at a time for about 2 months now. Cons: -A little more purple color coming out than I would like. (Many blacklights I own output very little visible light. Only lights up white or neon clothing. This will slightly light the room with a purple tint.) -May be too intense for some applications. -Gets uncomfortably hot very quickly. -Mounts do not move easily as they bump into protruding screws coming out side of casing. -when turning the switch to the off position, there is still a very small amount of light coming out of the led lights. -short power cord I mentioned that it was very intense. It's great if your using it in a very large room. Staring directly into the light will hurt your eyes almost immediately. Thus, it works great in large applications but a small party, in a small room, it may be too intense. The device gets very hot very quickly. I was looking through the little booklet that came with it and it talks about keeping the vent clear. There is no vent on mine. There's an indent where it looks like there should be one, but no cut out. I took a risk knowing it may overheat and left it running during an event for about 6-8 hours. There was no problems other than fairly intense heat radiating off of it. And there have been no problems as a result of heat any other time. When you turn the switch off the led lights still remain on just at a barely visible level. This makes me worry it might shorten the total lifespan of the led. Also, makes me worry about the quality of the electrical components within the light. This may be completely normal, but it just seems a little unusual to me. *****Overall I definitely recommend this light, but keep in mind it's not perfect for everything. Also, if you do buy it think about unplugging it when it's not in use to possibly help extend the life of the led lights. *****

I absolutely love this bkacklight!! It lights up my entire room! We bought this for our game room that we are working on and it is exactly what I wanted. The only thing that I would change is the fact that the power cord is so short. We hung the light bar from our ceiling and the cord doesnt even reach halfway down the wall, but we made it work. So other than that I have no complaints at all! This light rocks. **UPDATE** So I got this light a little over a year ago now and for some reason it stopped working. So I contacted the seller to see if they would help me out with this or at least point me in the right direction to getting it fixed. They were fantastic!! Very quick response (within 8 hours) and they already have a new one on the way to replace my light that broke. I am very very pleased with them and how they were able to help me out. I swear its so hard to find good customer service these days but these guys went above and beyond for me and I couldn't be happier! :)

I bought this item to use in my classroom for a 2nd grade spy detective day. I always by the black lights bulbs instead of the bar but thought I would try it since all the reviews were good. Well this bar is awesome! It easily lit up over half my classroom. You need to have good black lights for reading. I bought a second one just to not have to hassle with all the bulbs I usually do. This makes my life easy and my room significantly brighter in a fluorescent kinda way. I have not tried the larger bars but assume they will gave more light. I just know this is the only way I am setting up my classroom because two of these is all I need. I had several parents come in and say they are buying this for at home it was so good. Enjoy!

This is a very bright light compared to the old style tube black lights. It easily throws an eerie and groovy light across the landing on our porch where we will have a Halloween display. Looks like LED technology blows the socks off of fluorescent bulbs. Here is a tip that may help other buyers. I took the light out of the box plugged it in and turned it on. All the bulbs were flickering and I assumed I got a bad unit. I was trying other electrical outlets as well with the same flickering. Then I took a look at the remote and saw it had a strobe function. So I played around with the remote and found the light came out of the box in strobe mode. Once I set it to constant on it was much better and brighter as well. My wife and I love the amount and quality of light this puts out.
