Pleco Says “Yes, Please!”
This review is for Tetra PRO PlecoWafers 2.12 Ounces, Nutritionally Balanced Vegetarian Fish Food, Concentrated Algae Center, Golds & Yellows, Model Number: 16447. My pleco is 7 years old and he is about 10-12 in. long and 3-4 in. wide. I drop two wafers into the tanks in the morning and evening and he seems to like them. However, I have never personally seen him eat any of them. It takes him a long time to finish two so maybe I need to cut down the number to one wafer per serving. I don’t have any other creatures in the tank with him and I do occasionally see one disc just sitting there waiting to be eaten. Perhaps he’s taking his time because he doesn’t have to fight with anyone else for his food? I like that they don’t cloud up my tank or dissolve too quickly to then get sucked into the filtration system. It’s also so much easier to take a wafer or two and drop them into the tank versus shaking flakes or pellets which often leads to too much falling into the water at one time and then gets sucked into the filter. Overall, my pleco seems to like the wafers so I’d say it’s a win. I’d give these a 5.0/5.0 - 02/12/2025. 03/19/2025: My pleco loves these so much that I got 4 more bags. This time I went with 5.29oz because 2.12oz was ridiculously small and my pleco definitely can eat 2-3 of the wafers per meal. The smaller bag barely lasted one month (2-3 per meal/2x a day). The only thing that I noticed is my water needs more frequent changing ever since I got these wafers and my pleco leaves long trailing poop all over the tank. Still worth it because he, or maybe she, is very happy! Highly recommended.

Empaque sellado en buenas condiciones , tiene muy buen olor respecto a otros alimentos de fondo, es muy ligero al introducirlo al agua, así que les recomiendo apagar su filtro interno en caso de que tengan... Excelente compra...
