Works great for my headset modifications

The pinout of the cable is totally wrong for AV use, but these absolutely do the job without issue. This is how the wiring worked for me to get the output matching the cable colors. I bridged 1 and 2 to get mono out of both speakers. 1: Audio 2: Audio 3: VID 4: GND I think 1 is left and 2 is right, but it didn't matter for my purposes since I was using a mono signal.

This is really nice and functional TRRS Jack. There is 'some confusion' over which pin is which and what so here are my findings from measurements I made and confirmed as I put one into service. See my attached pic !! Tag 1 The lowest ring on a plug - nearest to the plug/cable end Tag 2 This is the upper/outer tip of the plug that goes into the socket first. Often Left channel Tag 3 Next down form the tip end this is 'other ring ' on stereo plug and is often the Right channel Tag4 This is the Extra ring you get on a TRRS plug/socket and usually a microphone channel Hope this is useful

Impressed by the quality for the price of these jacks. There may be some misleading info on the web about the connections. The pins on the jack are labeled 1 thru 4 - check the picture. Here is what I have determined (and devices worked) about the connections. Pin 1 = Sleeve-Microphone, Pin 2 = Tip-Left Audio, Pin 3 = Ring1 (closest to Tip) - Right Audio, and Pin 4 = Ring2 - Ground - Common return for 1, 2,& 3.
