Game Changer
This model works a little better than the previous version I own. It was very easy to install and set up through the App. The quality is great and the speed is quick. This things watches your driving and let’s you know if you are too close to the car in front of you or if you are drifting out of your lanes. The battery life seems to hold very well when the car is not driven. Great video and pictures for review.

Very small camera works with Garmin devices
I have the Garmin Dezl 800 GPS for my truck and wanted to get the camera which is 'supposed to' work with the GPS. I guess it does for the most part. I know there is a way to connect via bluetooth or WiFi just the camera and GPS - however I have been unsuccessful. The camera is small. It does have the old style micro USB power plug. The micro SDXC card is easily installed. My camera came with a 16 gb generic card which is effectively useless. It would only store 20 minutes of video before looping back and recording over everything. I purchased a Samsung EVO Select Micro SD 512GB microSDXC MB-ME512KA/AM and use it instead. Yes a 512 GB will work just fine. Once I put the new card in the camera it asked if I wanted to format it - I hit "yes" and the card was formatted for the camera. Pretty easy. Garmin does state the camera will work with up to 512 GB SD cards. If you want to format a new Micro SD card for the camera on your computer you need to format it in FAT 32. The camera comes with a glue on windshield mount or you can purchase separately a suction cup mount. I got the suction cup. There is no lens cover so keep your fingers away from it. The menu on the camera is pretty easy to navigate - which I found amazing. The default video quality is 1440p 30 fps and sound recording on. You can password protect entering into menu so only an authorized person can go into any of the settings. Requires use of a phone. The camera does want you to use the Garmin app Drive. This connects to the camera and allows the camera to upload video to a data vault. I do not use this option. The data vault is a paid service - and I know nothing of it. The camera wanted to update itself immediately when I first connected it to my laptop - it uses another Garmin app to register itself then download the 2.80 software. There are a bunch of other language and mapping software that can be downloaded. Was actually pretty easy to do the update. Overall - I'd say the Garmin v67 camera is pretty good. Its geared more toward fleet vehicle operation. You can use it on your own if you like. Don't ever expect to view any video from the built in 2" screen because it just not possible.

I love the quality of Garmin
Garmin has some of the nicest dashcams and I trust in their quality and reliability. I have a lot of dashcams that are from Garmin in my vehicles and none of them disappoint me, the same can’t be said for other dash cam competitors…. You won’t be disappointed with this dashcam. The extra wide helps to capture more of your surroundings. The 1440p helps to see a lot more clearly with more details. The Garmin app is easy to connect to and use.

Included SD card is incompatible
I bought 2 of these. One for each of my cars. After the hassle of trying to set these up I am returning them and will not be buying anymore dash cams. The first one I tried to set up got immediately stuck in a boot loop. It was stuck at the initial boot up screen and wouldn’t go anywhere. I removed the SD card but it requires it to boot so I put it back in and it went right back to where it was, stuck. Ok, maybe that was a fluke I will setup the other one. That one did boot up to the setup menu. I did the initial setup and tried connecting it to the Garmin Drive app. This is where it all fell apart. The app is terrible, the setup process is terrible. After multiple reboots of the device, the app and my phone it was finally connected to the app. I had brought the camera inside to work on because it was taking so long. After I finished the setup I unplugged it and took it to my car. I plugged in into the car to figure out where to mount it, and guess what, it was now stuck in a boot loop just like the other one. At this point I was done. I am sending them both back.

Does it’s job
Installed Garmin 67w to my mirror with Dongar cable. Initial setup went smoothly, though I recommend being patient as when the screen says Bluetooth connection could take a moment, it really did take a minute or two to show up on the list within the Drive app. I bought a 256gb memory card and no hiccups in using that either. My truck is in range of my Wifi connection so I when I park and turn my car off, the camera uploads any saved videos (must press button to save video). All unsaved videos are saved as 1 minute clips and only available on the SD card which is perfectly fine. If you don’t plan on being in range of Wi-Fi, there’s very little point if any, of using the app, because all the uploads are only done over Wi-Fi, which was fine with me. Function and reliability seem spot on. The quality of the footage leaves a little to be desired but from what I’ve learned researching all these is that most dash cams, even the 4k ones struggle to capture license plates reliably in many settings. For me, I feel comfortable in that this camera will do it’s job in helping provide evidence regarding whether something is my fault or not based on capturing the overall event, but I wouldn’t be counting on pulling plates during an incident unless the conditions are just right. Overall I’m satisfied with the quality and had managed expectations on footage, only hesitancy is on whether 57w or 67w was the better choice since the 57 has less fish bowl effect, but has lower viewing angle. Since so many dash cams struggle to capture license plates at fast speeds, I’m ok with the choice I made for higher viewing angle to capture more of an overall event. Just had car pull out in front of me and had to slam on the breaks, the camera was able to pick up the license plate and captures the whole incident, so although this wasn’t a real incident where I needed it, it was a good test case and worked perfectly. Another positive is I’ve used it in very hot temperatures and never had to remove it from the far and no issues overheating.

This is a great product but the seller is selling the world wide version not the north American one. With the world wide version you lose the SD card and free red light camera updates. I asked them to change their description but nothing was changed

I used to be a loyal fan of Garmin Dash Cams and had purchased four different models from Amazon over the years. Unfortunately, every single one of them had some kind of problem, which I struggled to fix on my own. Two weeks ago, I decided to try the Garmin 67W. It promised great specs (1440p, extra-wide 180° FOV, vehicle monitoring, voice control, compact design, and advertised as “includes memory card” — but never actually provided one). To make matters worse, no matter how I tried, the unit was stuck in an endless loop of “formatting SD card” and simply would not work. I had no choice but to return it. After this disappointment, I switched to the VIOFO A119 Mini 2 2K QHD Dash Cam, and the difference is night and day. In fact, I got it for half the price of the Garmin 67W, and it’s miles better in every aspect — video clarity, reliability, and overall value. I can no longer recommend Garmin Dash Cams to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and look at alternatives like VIOFO instead.

If I could chose zero- I would. Camera works great. It was advertised with a memory card and there was no memory card with it. Disappointed.
