Perfect fast-paced card game for those who love Monty Python!
I love the Fluxx series so much, and while I may play some of the other versions more often (I'll explain why at the end of this review), this is by far my personal favorite!!!!Fluxx is the perfect go-to game if you want something fast-paced, fun and easy to learn. Because the explanation and basic rules of the game are so simple, I've found that it's equally fun for brand-new players as for those who've played it before. Everything is explained on each card, so you can give very minimal instructions to new players and they'll pick it up easily. We usually use this as a warm-up game on game nights with friends and family, before moving on to more strategy-based games.Since I mentioned strategy, I will give you one word of caution: this is not a game for those who are looking for something with elaborate strategy and get frustrated when the plan they've been working on for several rounds either doesn't work out or backfires. The nature of the game is to be ever-changing, so you have to be willing to go with the flow. You can have some strategy, of course, but you have to be willing to see it blow up in front of you in seconds--and then laugh about it!A word about the theme versions of the game: this particular version is really best played when you're playing with others who know and love Monty Python. Several of the actions of the game give you bonuses based on your knowledge of the MP canon, including being able to quote from their show/movies or sing songs. It is playable with people who don't know MP, but I don't think it's as much fun for them. I own several of the other versions (original Fluxx, Star Fluxx, Oz Fluxx, Zombie Fluxx), and while I love this one the most (closely followed by Star Fluxx), I do make sure to play it with my MP-obsessed friends.

Great Variation on Fluxx, and Great for Monty Python Fans.
My cousin got me into Fluxx not too long ago and we had a blast playing it. My wife purchased this for me, knowing I am a huge Monty Python fan as well as loving Fluxx. You don't have to own the original Fluxx game, as this is a stand alone pack and has similar rules. The object of the game is to win, but the way you win constantly changes...or is in flux. The number of cards you draw, or have to play, or have to discard changes. Rules change. Objectives change. The game can last an hour, or 2 minutes. It is a fun game and can even be played with two players. Throw in the irreverence of Monty Python and the craziness of the game elevates. On rule is you have to sing a part of a MP song to draw extra cards, or talk in an outrageous accent, or quote some lines from one of their skits or movie. This is a great game for any fan of Monty Python.I would definitely recommend this game for anyone that likes Monty Python, or just having fun in general.

If you don't like the rules just wait a few minutes and they will change!
Fluxx is a great game for family and friends. Each game starts with one basic rule and as it progresses the cards you draw and play change it up into a chaotic mess which is great fun. The game is easy to learn, quick to set up, and each game doesn't last too long so this is an excellent choice for a family game night. The Monty Python version of Fluxx is fun for anyone who is a fan of the shows and movies. The cards make funny references and lead to Monty Python fans recalling their favorite quotes, songs, and scenes from the shows and movies.I would definitely recommend Fluxx as an addition to your game nights. If you're not a fan of Monty Python I would encourage you to give one of the other versions a try instead. The delivery was fast and packaging was fine. No complaints at all.

Fun gameplay
This is a fun version of Fluxx. There are a few cards that seem to always cause questions and confusion; one being the 'wink wink nudge nudge' card, as many of my friends have no idea what that means, and to be honest, at first neither did I. Some cards seem a bit fuzzy on the instructions, as far as how often you can use the action on the card. It helps after you've played a few times and can know ahead of time, to avoid the questions and squabbles that can come up during gameplay. Some seem to be up to interpretation, so I tend to point out those cards when they first come up and make sure to set the precedent straight away. The gameplay is great though. I've won many games using lots of combinations of special action cards, instead of the straightforward Keeper/Goal means. If you're a fan of Fluxx, this is definitely a great version.

One, Two, Five! (Stars)
If you love your Monty Python and you want to play Fluxx.... get this. It's a themed Fluxx game that plays like other Fluxx themes. Where playing the Holy Hand Grenade and the Killer Rabbit cards can net you win. Perhaps a Knight Who Say "Ni!" and a Shrubbery, a Finger of God and the animated Foot, or even perhaps the Grim Reaper and the Resting Parrot can get you the win. Rules are always in FLUXX in this game. Maybe you'll have a rule about using a Fake Accent or "I Want To Sing!" (singing) to get more cards. Don't like singing or using fake accents? Play one of the many cards that can remove those rules. I love all these cards and wish there were even more references. Especially The Knights Who Say "Ni!" where you can't win with this card in front of you UNLESS a goal says otherwise OR a card is on the table with the world "It" or "It's" in its title. So fantastic!
