Indespensible in your camp kitchen.
The only folding knife I have found with a full length serrated blade. This is much larger than their other knives and suitable as a bread knife, roast carving knife and excellent for big fruits with tough skins like melons and pineapples.

A winner
Opinel does it again.....a conveniently sized serrated kitchen knife that folds up. A quality produce, bread, etc. slicer. Sharp out of the box. Works great. With blade folded, spine works great on a ferro rod too. A useful addition to a picnic/camping kitchen kit. Also, handle should be fine for large hands.

Compact, sharp bread, knife
A great knife for cutting bread, not too small or too large

Great little French knife
I bought one of these in Europe, loved it and now by them as gifts. It's a very useful little knife with a serrated blade - great for all sorts of things including bread. Perfect for camping and picnics. Blade is sharp! You want to make sure the wood handle stays dry but otherwise it feels like a tool that will last.

The Best of Picnic Knives
I had a smaller Opinel knife with regular blade. Loved it. This is a great addition to the picnic basket with longer and serrated blade. Loaves of baguettes are easily sliced and meats, cheese, and fruits are a piece of cake.

Works well, good size for bread and things.
This knife, along with a Victorinox Spartan, blanket, and cutting board, are in my car for impromptu picnics. This Opinel is a good size for cutting a sub (sandwich) into quarters, or anything else that you might ask of a bread knife. But, because it's just a bit smaller and folds, it is much better for packing -- no worry about having, or making, a sheath for the blade.

Tool large for intended use
Great LARGE knife overall. Just too large to carry in a pocket, belt sheath, or holster. What would make this a great knife would be a Number 8 with a serrated blade. Slip it in your pocket and take it to the local steakhouse and start cutting. Even for someone like me with XX-Large hands, it's hard to get a grip on the knife and do menial work like ripping a rare steak apart. In either SS or carbon steel this knife in a size 8 would be well received.
