My son is 13 and is a big big history buff, especially war history and he wanted to be dress as an authentic WWII American soldier for Halloween. I bought the suspenders, the waiters, the belt, and the bag all from this seller and they are perfect. If my son approves they are as close as it gets because he is super picky. He actually started out asking me to bid on an auctioned uniform that had been worn by a soldier. I told him I didn't have that kind of money so this was the next best thing.

got these for personal use! i modified mine to fit my leg and wear on the inside of my boot. an important thing to note about military gaiters: they come in different sizes. these are 3R, the 3rd biggest size. smaller sizes include: 2R, and 1R. i can only find 3R gaiters of this style on amazon. if you need a smaller size, you will have to look elsewhere i find these are most useful when i am hiking. the canvas is pretty strong, and has no problem keeping my legs safe from thorny blackberry bushes. despite wearing it inside the boot, it still fill in the gap between the neck and my leg, so less things get into them with the right outfit, these are plenty fashionable, especially if anything else you're wearing is vintage

Nice sturdy material but heel strap is too short for most boots even the combat boots they're designed for

The boot gaiters look neat but have continuously broken down and required maintenance. If I wasn’t handy with a thread and needle, this product would have been considered unusable within its first month of use. Great if you need something cheap and fast (preferably something you only use once, like Halloween), not good if you’re looking for something that will last.

They look good and seem pretty well made, but the strap that goes under your boot is waaaay too short I'm gonna need to make some adjustments
