How do I choose the age

Hi Caasho, Thanks for your question. It is considered as one size fits all which I understand makes online shopping tricky. The Vest is 79 cms in diameter around the chest (38 cms wide, 48 cms in length) however,it may be a gift and you are unable to measure the child. The Vest would fit between an average 4 -6 year old regular sized child and even up to an 8 year old depending on the size of the child. The Vest is now very snug on our 8 year old son but our 10 year old son has plenty of room to spare. If you purchase it and have any size issues, please feel free to contact me and I will help. What size is it? I need this to fit a 7 yeat old

Hi Kim, Thank you for your question. The Vest is 31ins in diameter around the chest. If you are unable to measure the child, I would say the Vest would fit a regular sized 7 year old. I have an 8 year old and the Vest is very snug on him and a slender 10 year old with plenty of room to spare. If it doesn't fit your child, please feel free to return it. Hope that helps! No warning from school about a hook day!! So ordered in a panic! But arrived on the same day thankfully! Daughter is 5 and fit on the big side so would likely fit a child up to 9 years old snuggly. Would recommend. The pink isn’t as pink as it looks on the product pics.

Came up smaller than expected

Bought this as my boys 8 but I would suggest it's for ages 7 and under.Put it on and it was quite tight. He had a job to zip it up. Did what was needed for "dress like an explorer" for school.
