Bosca Old Leather Collection - 10" Zipper Utilikit

Bosca leather is top-notch. It is evident in this product. In addition to the very high-quality leather and the beautiful cognac color, the bag is well-designed and manufactured. The external zipper is smooth and robust. The bag features a removable liner that will permit you to clean any toothpaste or shampoo related mishaps, thereby preserving the longevity of the bag. Finally, the bag opening stands up to give you a clear view of the entire contents of the bag, making it easier to use than any other design I have tried. I expect this bag to last my lifetime. In fact, I expect to pass it on to my kid, probably looking as good as it does today. Make no mistake, Bosca products are expensive, and you can easily find a more affordable dopp kit in leather or in nylon. The Bosca is a luxury item. If you want to treat yourself to a small luxury while also enjoying excellent design and craftsmanship, the bag is worth your consideration.

This was not what I was expecting. The so called leather seemed like imitation and the price was too high for what I was expecting. I found an American Made product of superior quality for about the same price.

This beautiful piece of luggage replaces a Dopp Kit that I received 51 years ago. The fabric in that zipper finally bit the dust and could not be replaced at the leather repair shop. This toiletry case is beautiful. Large enough to pack many items without being crowded. i don't expect to be around in another 61 years, but this item will probably 'keep on ticking". Bosca makes the best accessories for made, they never disappoint. I've buying things from Bosca for years and will continue to do so. This case is made of beautiful, old leather, it's perfect size, and has an excellent construction. It's expensive, but well worth the money.

Quite beautiful to look at, worthy of my SS double edge razor and its accompaniments. One thing I should mention, like all of my other leather goods (and car seats), I immediately applied a leather cleaner/conditioner (by Zanio: Leather in a Bottle - the best I have found and used for over 10 years) and noticed that some of the leather color rubbed off on the buffing cloth. Not much came off mind you, but enough to be cognizant in case the bag gets wet or stored with clothing in a suitcase. Bosca says: "Old Leather is certified Italian Vegetable Tanned leather" that might explain it. In either case, I am keeping it; very happy traveler. Note: length and width is typical for a toilet bag, but its short in height approx 3.5". For me that is fine as I wanted something a bit smaller and easier to pack in a carry-on or mid-size check-in luggage. However, they do make a taller version of it.

Beautiful but I bought it for my husband and he thinks it too big. Because it’s beautiful, he did not want to return it. I’m looking for a smaller version for him.

I had my share of quality wash bags, but words just can not explain how wonderful this item is!!

Bought this for my husband as his travel kit bag of 35 years was in need of replacement. Fine quality leather, well made bag with removable zippered lining for washing makes this bag good, but the pop-up design enabling the bag to be wide open when unzipped is the feature that most sets it apart from all others. If you travel frequently and appreciate fine quality, the rather steep price is well worth the investment.
