Taste like a wet dog smells
This used to be my favorite Mountain House meal. They ruined it when they switched to the new improved packs. It's horrible,

Does not rehydrate...
...into anything edible. None of the ingredients were edible but the shredded potatoes, in particular, were like raw shredded potatoes. I’ve never had freeze-dried food or even MRE’s that were this bad.

Very tasty and quick.
Easy, fast, satisfying breakfast before--or midway through--a morning hike. Can securely carry it, cooked, in a pack to eat later and use the pouch to pack out any other trash.

Not like the original
This stuff is so horrendous when compared to the original that I’m contemplating paying double to pick up blue bagged breakfast skillet on the black market.Mountain house: if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. You done messed up here.

More expensive version of their original breakfast skillet.
They lowered the quantity and upped the price. Otherwise identical to their original breakfast skillet.
