Just Right!
It’s concise, yet thorough, covering all the key topics like network architecture, security, and troubleshooting without unnecessary detail. If you like Mike Meyers videos, you will like the few jokes he throws into the book while making the complex concepts easy to understand and keeps the material focused on what you need for the exam. The practice questions and exam at the end of each chapter are helpful, but again, as I will say to most people that they are not CompTIA exam like.If you’re looking for an efficient and effective study guide to pass the Network+ on your first try, add this book to your resources.

I have bought every iteration of these books.
I have taken a lot of certification exams, and can say, the Mike Meyer's books are by far the best resource books. I don't even have COMPTIA certs anymore and I still buy these books as reference material. These are no fluff books. They don't waste time explaining what a keyboard is. They assume you already have basic fundementals and get straight to the stuff you need to know, not just for the exam but as a competitant professional. Additionally, they are not just a knowledge dump to get you past the test, they actually give you what you need to understand the material, which is far more valuable as a professional. They are easily referenced, when you need to know something, and don't require you to dig through chapters and paragraphs of pointless page filler. I used these books a lot as reference material while completing my Master's Degree, and I still keep updated versions in my library for personal use.

Good book if you understand it's limitations
I have a CCNA and needed to get Network+ for a job. So I picked up this book to study. Mike Myers did a good job of covering all the topics for Network+ and I was able to pass. Mike Myers was easy to read and understand, so I actually enjoyed reading through the book. I recommend this book for someone who already has a decent knowledge of networking and just needs a refresher before an exam, such as someone who is going for a recert, someone going to school and it's been a couple months between their classes and the exam or someone who has other certifications from other companies and just needs to get their Network+.I do not think it goes in-depth for a novice to use this as their sole study guide. But to be fair to the book, it is not intended for that purpose and tells you that upfront.

I passed
I highly recommend using the voucher for TotalSem mock exams and videos found on the last page. I passed first time.
