5 Sports, Men’s 5 Sports Watch, Silver, SRPG29K1

This is my first ‘proper’ watch and it’s a great all rounder. They are supposed to be accurate to +/- 30 seconds a day but I must have got lucky as this one is around 3 seconds slow each day when measured against a stopwatch. I wear it all day including when I sleep and I rarely have to wind it. The steel bracelet is good quality, my last Smart watch used to leave a red mark on my wrist from the bracelet and this one doesn’t. Really pleased with it and hope to get many years out of it as a reliable daily wearer.

I look be everything about this watch. For that price, you get so much, a lovely second hand hand movement at 6 notches a second, open back to see the automatic winding movement, hacking seconds, manual winding, lovely blue dial that changes in the light, easy to read, solid bracelet that's easy to adjust yourself using a tack or board pin. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this watch.

Really nice, I like it very much. Obviously not screw down crown and Seiko really should start using sapphire to catch up with Chinese brands. Domed crystal. Nice.

with a nice movement and a lovely clear dial with raised numbers. Decent quality bracelet but I would have preferred a flat crystal...and preferably sapphire!

Very happy with the watch, it keeps excellent time and I've had no trouble with it.

Bin voll zufrieden. Endlich mal ein Armband das auch passt auf mein Handgelenk. Der Wochentag könnte besser zu lesen sein so wie der Tag dann wäre es super.

Très satisfait de cette montre automatique. Plus de problème de pile à remplacer qui coûte le prix de la montre. Robuste et esthétique, cette montre est parfaite et en outre, elle permet de se distinguer de la masse qui utilise des montres électroniques connectées qui permettent de les tracer.

Seiko five series hold a happy fascination for me due to their value- price ratio and their robust reliability. I like the day/date feature as well. The two I already own are pleasing enough designs, but I don't wear them often because of two main reasons: Very cheap bracelets and not being windable or hackable. I don't seem to move enough to keep these running for more than a few days, meaning having to reset them constantly. Then along came this new series of fives with the 4R36 windable movement. Now I don't consider this more accurate than the 7S26c, however, it is hackable. So that is one objection taken care of. The better bracelet, being a real improvement, takes care of the second objection.
