We love these shin guards for our kids. We have tried the tall socks/shin guards and they are so difficult to get on due to the length. These are easy for our young kids to slip on and off-and fit well! The padding is sufficient and I appreciate that the guard can be removed so the sock/covering can be washed. The guards/covering stay in place well-and provide great protection. Highly recommended for quality and affordability!

These guards are a good option when your child is bothered by the Velcro straps that go around their calf or the elastic loop that fits under their foot. My child is 6, almost 7 and he said these are way more comfortable. I ordered the mediums and they fit him great. Will probably be able to use them for the next couple of years at least. The only complaint I have about them is the shin guards do slide up out of the pocket on the sleeve (I posted a pic showing this). It would be a good idea for these to have a top flap or snap to fully enclose the guard. We started putting the sleeve and guard under his socks to help keep the guard from sliding out.

I bought size large for my 7yo. I think I could have sized down to a medium but I figure he'll grow into it. This new style of shin guards are the way to go. Its easy for my kid to put it on himself and I can easily wash them after each game/practice and it won't become stinky and gross. I like that it's neon green so we can always spot them and not go hunting for them 5 minutes before we have to leave the house.

Our kids found these shin guards to be comfortable and effective when playing soccer. The sleeves did not get too stretchy and baggy which is common for shin guard sleeves and the stayed in place with minimal slippage when the girls put them on. As a parent I want most of the bottom leg to be protected with a shin guard and these shin guards meet that expectation. Most kids will put "soccer socks" over top of them. I would just encourage you to get larger socks so that putting on the soccer socks is fairly easy overtop of the shin guard.

It is my second time to buy. The only issue is that sock is so easy to be broken.
