Mark Makepeace has written a book about a financial index from the UK. However, he has written the book as if the index is the greatest invention in the world ever! Which was invented by himself, of course.He presents the index as a barometer to all of life on this planet, but I suspect 99% of people wouldn’t know the index points for that day.Unfortunately, Mark, the FTSE is not the greatest thing on this planet.

This book is a good historical account of the establishment and evolution of FTSE.
