Beautifully authentic Japanese arrowroot — not the same as regular arrowroot!
I think a lot of people are missing the point of what this product really is. The Japanese arrowroot plant (kuzu) is different from the common arrowroot you might find elsewhere. The one grown in Japan has long been treasured for its nourishing and healing properties — it’s used not just for cooking, but also in traditional Japanese wellness practices. When you cook this powder, you’ll notice the texture turns thicker and silkier than regular arrowroot starch. That’s exactly how it’s supposed to be! It makes the most soothing drinks, puddings, and sauces — rich, smooth, and comforting. Some reviews mention it’s not what they expected, but that’s simply because this isn’t the same plant. It’s special in its own way. I do hope the seller considers renaming the title to say “Japanese Arrowroot (Kudzu)”, so people understand what a gem this truly is. It deserves to be appreciated for its authentic Japanese origin and quality.

Not Arrowroot
I bought this product because it had arrowroot as the description. Only to find out that it's Kudzu Root when I got it. The taste was okay and earthy at first. But the aftertaste is bitter. Please make honest descriptions. If Its Kudzu Root then the description should say that it's Kudzu Root and not Arrowroot.

Totally wasted my money
Taste like flowers… had tons of crumbs and way too overpriced for the two complaints I have… don’t waste your money!! Now I know, I gotta kick my habit lol

Better Than Cornstarch
The Kudzu root takes a year to process into this powder. It takes a small amount to produce the same result as 2 T cornstarch. The flavor absorbed by your sauces is more intense.
