These are aluminum and should last longer than my old ones. Very well made and look nice. After adjusting, they lock firmly. I didn't even look at the directions. Install can be completed with a 13mm 1/4" socket and a wobble attachment. I've seen some that cost 4x as much as these, not sure what they do that these can't. For the money, I'd recommend these all day long.

These fit perfectly and they hold the hood down tight. No more freaky wind gusts blowing my hood up and down against the rubber latches. They are also adjustable to how tight you want them to snap over. I installed a clear rubber stick on bumper on the top of my fenders for them to rest on when they are open as they are quite solid and robust and they could scratch the fenders if you just Fling them open. Overall very happy with them. They don't stick up in the air in your view like the lame factory ones either.

Good fit. Very easy to install. Quality appears good. These latches are far superior to the originals and totally eliminate hood flutter.

These are outstanding..so solid you’ll think you should be installing them on an army Tank. Great feel when latching, no clanking metal but super solid clasp and hold as if there was rubber between the metal components. What an outstanding product for the money. Coated so they are rust resistant. Hood is more stable than stock latches now. Easy to use, easy to install with a few challenges but not bad. If your grill removes easy, it will make installation of these a snap! Perfect functionality with excellent form…WHAT AN UPGRADE!!!
