I would say not. It’s a mini backpack. I don’t have a Chromebook, but a regular laptop, it is muuuuuch too large. A paperback or may a handful would fit.

Is this backpack navy or dark purple?

It's more of a purple than navy. I thought it lighter than the pictures but it's still very pretty.

Will this fit a 13in Mac book pro

I would not recommend putting your laptop in this bag. The bag is small and can fit a 6.6” x 4.6” x 0.3” tablet or laptop perfectly fine.
