I glossed over "assembly required" when I ordered this. My husband and i worked together for 2.5 hours to put it together. Instructions were deficient in terms of what color screws to use and which direction the illustrated pieces went in, but the actual diagrams were accurate. You basically build the upper two floors upside down, then flip them snd attach to the base. Some of the other reviews mentioned using glue to secure some of the pieces that are attached with dowels. Now that my grandson has played with it a few times I can see why. So even though assemble is a bear, it is a great toy with lots of features. The ramps are so fun!!!! The landing pad at the top is nice. I can see why it would not be as affordable if it was assembled before shipping. Long story short, my three year old grandson loves it. You can use other brand name small toy cars with it. It's very impressive looking. Quite heavy. Just don't think it's a quick assembly. You will need a block of time to put it together. But fun to play with once it is done!

My 4-5 year olds enjoyed this play set. Although my husband and I had to built this from scratch with the instruction book. Some parts kept falling such as the slides when my students used the car wash building.

My child LOVES this but it’s A LOT of parts to assemble this and one of the ramps will not stay attached and I’m afraid my kid is eventually going to break it. The elevator didn’t last long either. It’s super cute but if you have “rough” kids, it may not last long.

This is an exceptionally well conceived and designed garage for kids. Our 3 year old comes back to it again and again. It's incredibly solid and clearly will outlast our son and be passed on. It does take some putting together so be prepared to spend a significant amount of time on it. However, with two of us working on it it didn't present any problems. There were several occasions when we were just certain that a part was missing--and it wasn't. In case this happens to you, look and look again. That said, the company promises to quickly send you any missing parts in case that does happen but like I said it didn't. It's just that there are a lot of parts and sometimes you have to look very closely to see what you've got in front of you. All in all this is a five out of five and parents know how rare that is.

This was a pain to assemble! The instructions were upside down as that’s how they expected you to assemble it. The ladder ramps don’t stay on when the kids are playing with it. I ended up hot gluing them down. The rope elevator for the cars gets stuck easily. It looks as the picture shows and is quite sturdy otherwise. However I don’t think it’s worth the money.

My toddlers favorite toy, he plays with this everyday. Great quality , perfect side for small hands and so cute. It does take some time to assemble and my husband said it was a bit tricky but it’s built well and looks so cute definitely worth the time. It’s not too heavy so it can be moved by an adult easily. Highly recommend.

I have never left a review before, but felt that this was such a disappointment that I had to warn other buyers. The instructions are incredibly vague, it doesn’t specify what color screw should go where or which way the pieces should face, it’s all a guessing game. In addition, the pictures have no descriptions, so if you are not a visual learner putting this together becomes challenging. Half way through assembly I noticed scuffs, scratches, and chips. At this point my toddler is so excited I don’t feel as though I can pack it back up and send it back, but for the price this is a huge disappointment and an absolute waste of money. Find another item, this won’t last past the week.

My wife assembled this. She said there were a lot of small pieces to put together. It appeared she was using my drill but I'm not sure if it was necessary (vs a screwdriver). Instructions were simple but it still took her about 2 hrs to build. When I got home, I could see that it's a hefty toy, which should be perfect for my ASD/ADHD son who loves Hot Wheels (not built for HW but obviously will function for them).

Although it was easy to put together ; it took a very long time. I also found the quality not what I expected. The picture posted on Amazon was clearly much nicer then the reality. I also had to glue the ramps going to each level as the kept coming apart. Having said that, my kid loves the toy. He doesn't care that I think it is overpriced . He is happy and I guess that is what counts.

Never have I had to tighten so many screws and eventually used so much super glue to hold this together. Don't waste your money. My son loves this but it is not well made. Does not stay together without super glue.
