bayite Leather Bands Compatible with Fitbit Alta and Alta HR, Light Brown 5.5" - 8.1"

I've had this about a month now. I like it a lot and wear it more than my other 4 bands combined. I've purchased a variety of different types of bands for my Alta, and this is my favorite. After a month of nearly daily wear, I'm moving up to the next 'hole' on the band, as it's stretched just a little bit. This is typical for real leather. I actually worked for a super high end luxury leather company from a decade, so I say that as someone who really knows leather. The quality is very good for the price and the leather behaves exactly the way one expects good accessory leather to wear. That means it will get softer with use, and the leather will get a patina with use.It is very comfortable, and unlike the metal mesh bands I tried, this doesn't snag on my clothes. Also unlike the metal magnet bands, this buckle approach never slips. Those metal ones sometimes come apart with movement because they only have a magnet holding them closed. They're fine for office, but seem to come undone pretty easily. This leather one is great though, I never worry about it coming off, because it's a buckle. It might not seem like a big deal, but having two of the little strap holder loops is important. It keeps the band nice and flat.Sizing, I wasn't sure if I needed small or large because my size is right in the middle, but I got the large because I was was cautious in case manufacturer was stingy with the length of strap. I shouldn't have worried, this is well made and so there was plenty of spare strap length. If you're size is right on the cusp between small or large like I was, the small is probably fine.Writing this review makes me realize, I really should order another one just to have ready in case I ever need it.

I actually didn't mind the band that came with the Alta as it's much better than the Charge I had previously. However, I wanted to make my Alta look classier without paying too much, and this did the trick. I bought the light brown, and it came in a very timely manner. The color looked a bit darker than I expected, but, after a week of wearing it, I noticed that the finish has 'worn' a little (see pics for comparison - new vs worn-for-a-week). As a result, the color has 'lightened' over time. The first band I received had some plastic showing at the end where the band would clasp onto the Alta (which results in a bigger gap between band + screen), so I mentioned it to the seller. They were extremely quick in replying and offered to replace it (100% satisfaction guarantee). The second one that came was solid. Since I've worn it, all my Fitbit friends have remarked on how cool it looks. I'm quite happy with it. :)UPDATE: I've use this style band for the last 2.5 years and still like it enough that I'd buy the replacement again. I have replaced the band twice. The first time because it was starting to rip at the holes (maybe after a year or so of daily wear); the second time because one of the strap holder started ripping. (See picture of 3 bands.) Still worth it to me, though!

This band has great durability and wonderful comfort for a leather band. This made my band look awesome and I will definitely use the mobile app more often now haha.

This is a great little band that makes my Fitbit look more like a watch. The clasps that hold it to the Fitbit are very secure, you have to push them open to put them on, as opposed to just sliding it on, but that means it really stays put.I would recommend that you use mink oil or another leather polish/waterproofer a few times - the leather is a bit dry and the oil soaked in and gave it a nice finish.

I have had this watch band in light brown for a little over 1 month, and ordered one in the grey suede for someone else a few weeks later. I prefer the leather of this band to the rubber "sport band" that comes standard with the Fitbit Alta. I also like having the traditional watch buckle rather than the notches of the sport band, as I have lost a Fitbit in the past from loose notches. The color is great, but the leather does show signs of wear and discoloration already, and I do not use this band every day. Overall, a nice change from the sport band but the quality is not outstanding.

I should start out by saying I think most fitness trackers are incredibly ugly. I ordered this band right after ordering my Fitbit Alta because I knew I wouldn't want to wear the colored plastic band from the factory on my wrist. I was looking for something that could make the Fitbit look more like a watch. This band gives the device more of a chic, classic look (as far as a Fitbit can actually have that look). I've worn it a week and the band is gaining that slightly distressed leather look that I like. If you are looking for a leather band that will keep its "new" look, I would say to look elsewhere.

I like the look and quality of the band. I have an average size wrist and I have plenty of extra notches available. I used to wear an 8" wrist band, so I really do understand the importance in wrist size. I'll know more about the wear and tear of this band in a few months, but for now it seems good. I hope to find this band in an even lighter beige or light taupe leather band before summer. So far I am unable to locate a replacement band in an even lighter beige/taupe than this one.

I really like this band! It's simple yet elegant. I did have a couple issues:1) The stitching on the loop that holds the wristband in place makes my wrist itch so I had to turn it around.2) I have a smaller wrist, so there are gaping holes between the band and my wrist.Overall, I recommend this! For the price and quality, it's unbeatable.

Good quality band that's a much better price that the Fitbit branded one. At this price if it gets damaged, it's easy to replace.
