Great jump starter
Purchased this as we have many things that may require a jump start. It charges quickly and is very easy to hook up and jump start anything we need it for. It is a nice, compact size and comes with a carrying case. It works great and we would highly recommend it.

It will Jumpstart a firetruck
Really impressed with this jumpstarter. I have owned this for a few years and have used it on various vehicles, it always works effortlessly. However a few weeks ago I had to put it to the real test. Our fire engine at my job had not been plugged in the night before and was reading around 7.5 volts on my meter, it wouldnt even turn over. It was a Sunday so no one was avaliable to come out and work on it. I figured I would give my noco a try. Our fire engine has an L9 Cummins with 4 giant batteries. I hooked it up and hit the boost button, waited a few seconds and started the truck. It fired right up! The noco had used about half of its battery and had the temperature light flashing for a while but it was able to do it. Once it cooled down it charged right back up. I wouldnt recommend doing this everyday with this sized battery, but it definitely has the beans to do it.

Just Buy it, its completely worth it
Just go ahead and buy it, it’ll save you one day trust me. Let me tell a little true story basically I’m a bass head and I wanted a sub in my jeep so I took the kicker sub and amp I had in my truck and put it in my Cherokee unfortunately we did not reconnect the cable that travels from the alternator to the battery bus bar however the cable was on the post, the first sign of the problem occurred when the stop/start system was disabled shortly after driving away. I thought this was because the car detected the subwoofer was now drawing power so it disables the system so I ignored it. We did all this on Saturday evening and everything was going smooth, Until “Wednesday” came around. So I’m driving to work on the interstate in the first three warnings that came appeared were ABS, Stability Control, and my parking brake were all disabled. Forgot to mention my card did start mentioning something about a low power state but I didn’t know what that was about but now I know; Anyways I stop at a red light, and things start to get real problematic first my AC starts turning on and off and then my head unit blacked out. I put the card in park because I didn’t know what was going on. I opened the back of my jeep manually as the Rear powered door is also disabled. I glance over at my Subwoofer Amp (Kicker 800.1) and I see two lights on at the same time power and protect meaning the voltage in my car battery was below 10 1/2 V and I verified that with my multimeter as I work with AC units so I jumped my car battery off with a little bit of voltage from the pack and I was able to quickly get to work in the afternoon. It turns out I did not reattach the nut nuts for the battery lead meaning the car battery was never truly charging. If you’re thinking about buying a cheaper, one of these, you might want to stick with this brand as they are very reputable charge very quickly through USB-C power delivery, which is very handy. It is in my opinion the safest jump pack as you cannot short the output unless you override the pack, which I have done before sorry about that Noco, but I had to experiment. Sheep was work, but they’re usually made with cheaper batteries so they don’t hold a charge very well and they die pretty quickly so it might be only good for six or seven cranks. This jump pack also has many safety features and temperature protection. And it has a flashlight. I don’t know what else to say but I strongly recommend buying this jump pack. It’ll save you when you’re in a jam and it saved me from being stuck at a green light.

Perfect for Jumping my Cars and Truck
I often leave our cars sitting for a while and have had to jump them. This has helped when needed, although I now attach a small solar panel to keep them topped up. When needed, this worked Great and helped provide the power i needed to jump start the car with hardly any effort at all...So Easy! Only time i had an issue is when the battery was so depleted that the unit did not turn on as it did not detect voltage, but i was able to use another power source to "trick" it into turning on. Ovewrall this is a Great investment so you dont have to reply on others to jump your car if needed.

Solid and reliable
Bought it 2.5 years ago and it has saved me 3 times now. It is simple — literally just plug the cables in, attach it to battery and press the power button. It is compact enough so I can leave it plugged into the usb in my middle console of my 2017 Highlander. It has survived the heats and colds of New England, and worked flawlessly. Also nice to have it around in case of being stranded and need to charge phones. This is an essential security item to have in your car.

Compact, Powerful, and a Lifesaver in Emergencies
The NOCO Boost X GBX45 is a must-have for anyone who drives, providing reliable jump-starting power in a compact and easy-to-use package. I’ve used it to jump-start both a dead car battery and a truck, and it worked flawlessly each time—getting the engine running in seconds. With 1250A peak power, it’s capable of jump-starting up to 6.5L gas and 4.0L diesel engines, making it versatile for cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even boats. The UltraSafe technology ensures no sparks or accidental shocks, making it beginner-friendly. Beyond jump-starting, it’s also a USB-C power bank, which is perfect for charging phones, tablets, or other devices in an emergency. The compact design fits easily in a glove box or trunk without taking up much space. One small thing to note: Like all lithium jump starters, it needs to be charged periodically to be ready when you need it. If you forget, it won’t help in an emergency! And here’s a quick joke: Why did the jump starter never get lost? Because it always knew how to boost in the right direction! Overall, the NOCO Boost X GBX45 is a powerful, compact, and reliable jump starter that’s perfect for emergencies, road trips, and everyday peace of mind. It’s a great investment for any driver.

Useful and quality tool that I wouldn’t want to be without
I love this thing. It works really well and I’m glad that I have it. It comes in so handy if my car needs a jump and I’m also able to. Charge and power other devices from its outputs.

This is the sort of device that sits in your car forever with very occasional use (unless you are a road service provider). So it needs to hold its charge, handle variable temperatures, and work seamlessly when required. It achieves all of these aims. I bought the additional case to make sure it stays together and doesn't get damaged, and that's worth the extra (on sale). It sits behind my car's rear wheel well and gets pulled out on the rare occasions it's needed, when its simple and clear design makes it easy to operate without reading a big manual. Only downside is the price, but there's no point paying less and having no charge when you need it.

Genial.

I’ve owned several portable jump starters over the years, including the older NOCO GB40. While the previous generation was "good enough," the NOCO Boost X GBX45 feels like a serious professional-grade tool rather than just a backup gadget. If you’re deciding between the older "Plus" models and this new "X" series, here is the real-world breakdown of why this is worth the extra $20-$30. 1. USB-C Power Delivery is a Game Changer The biggest frustration with older lithium jump packs was the recharge time—often taking 3 to 5 hours via Micro-USB. The GBX45 uses USB-C PD (60W). I can fully charge this unit in about 48 minutes. Even more impressively, if it’s dead and you’re stranded, you can plug it in for just 5 minutes and it will have enough "juice" to perform a jump. That alone justifies the upgrade. 2. Performance on Larger Engines I tested this on a 5.7L V8 that had been sitting for three weeks in 30°F weather. The battery was at roughly 2V (dead as a doorknob). The Result: The "Boost" light kicked on, and the engine turned over instantly without that sluggish "struggling" sound you get with smaller packs. The Specs: It’s rated for 6.5L Gas / 4.0L Diesel, which covers almost any standard pickup truck (F-150, Silverado) or SUV on the road. 3. Safety for the "Non-Car" Person The UltraSafe 2.0 technology is foolproof. I let my daughter use it on her car, and even though she was nervous about "sparks" or "blowing something up," the reverse polarity protection makes it impossible to mess up. If you hook it up backwards, it simply won't engage. 4. More Than Just a Jump Box The 60W output means this isn't just for car emergencies. It functions as a high-speed power bank. It can fast-charge a MacBook Air or an iPhone 15 at full speed. The 100-lumen flashlight is surprisingly bright with a wide beam, making it actually useful for changing a tire at night, not just a gimmick. Pros: Lightning Fast Charging: 0% to 100% in under an hour (with a 60W wall plug). Extreme Power: Delivers a much higher "punch" (1250A) than the GB40. Compact: Still fits in a standard glove box or under a seat. Manual Override: Works on "deeply discharged" batteries (below 2V) that other smart chargers won't even detect. Cons: Case Sold Separately: It comes with a microfiber bag, but for a tool at this price point, I really wish it included the hard-shell protective case. No Wall Plug: It includes the USB-C cable, but you’ll need your own 60W USB-C brick to get those ultra-fast charging speeds. The Bottom Line: The GBX45 is the "Goldilocks" of the NOCO lineup. It has the modern USB-C tech the older units lack and enough power to handle a dead truck battery without being as bulky or expensive as the commercial-grade GBX155. It's the best insurance policy you can put in your trunk.

Noco is a little more expensive and other brands but their performance and quality is worth it. Very pleased with this unit: small yet potent, just like me. Recommended.
