does 9H hardness protect against rock chips?

If my 2020 Charger Scatpack is any example of what this product protects from and doesn't protect from then the answer is hard NO. It will help prevent very light scatches though but I would not push the limits beyound that. I reconmend getting your vehical clear bra if you are worried about rock chips. My car have just mad eover 20k miles and have rock chips all over from driving mostly highway.

Are you able to use a car wash after applying this?

We do not recommend using a tunnel wash when washing your vehicle because of the damage that can be introduced to your vehicles finish. You are able to visit a "pay and spray" style car wash which allows you to use a high psi pressure washer to easily clean your coated vehicle. Thanks!

Are two coats recommended? If so, how long should I wait between coats?

I prepped the surface and applied one coat. It's been 5 months and it's still holding up. I guess you could apply 2 coats, waiting a week between coats, but keep in mind that this is a coating that bonds to the surface and gives a great shine. Be more concerned with prepping the original surface, because any streaks or imperfections will be highlighted by this product. It's not like other coatings that allow you to rub out imperfections.
