Got it for my SUP so I could do some fishing while I'm out there. It's good quality and weight. It also has more line attached to it than most (40 ft). I'm very pleased.

This product exceed my expectations. The handy carrying bag just stays in the bow area because I rarely (if ever) anchor. But, when you do need to anchor, you have it readily accessible.

I had been looking for an anchor to use when I’m paddle boarding. I bought this one on a whim and I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect size. It works super well and is high-quality. It’s a really good price and is the perfect weight to hold a paddleboard in place.

I have not used this for a kayak so I can't comment on the effectiveness for that scenario, but I suspect it's well suited for it. I actually bought this for my salmon boat so when I'm anchored in the front i can throw this off the back just to keep my boat from spinning around in the wind on the lakes I fish at. Works great to keep my boat lined up and folds away to store quite nicely. I would recommend.

So I’m not sure what the issues were with other people but I was looking for an anchor to use when my girlfriend and I go paddle boarding. I just tried it today for the first time and it worked perfectly fine.I just clipped it to the back of the board where there was a loop and lowerred the anchor in and they was it. Didn’t move and I was out there for a couple of hours. It was easy to figure out how to open the anchor and close it.

The media could not be loaded. Kept us 2 adult women from drifting off on Lake Erie on our rafts

It’s solid and not very heavy the anchor itself is nice and quality, but the rope is GARBAGE you’re better off either buying the anchor alone and finding better rope or buying a better quality set up than this other than that it’s the cheapest you’re gunna get with this.
