Essential Interviewing: A Programmed Approach to Effective Communication 9th Edition

A lot of textbooks do a lot of talking and describing but offer very little practical application. This book really goes back and forth between the theoretical and practical, instilling skills as the reader progresses. Of all the textbooks I've read in my graduate programs, this is the most useful I've found yet.

This is a great book for anyone entering the psychology/ counseling field. I have learned so much from this book alone.
