Honestly, I purchased this because my usual brand of hot pot base was unavailable, but I’m really happy that I did. This is delicious! I love the amount of spice that this has and a nice bold flavor!

Fantastic for homemade hotpot, it really tastes like restaurant quality when combined with a good pork broth, lots of numbing spice is there. We call it the 'spicy soap of doom'. Recommend using it at half the recommended amount at first-1 square for 1qt of stock, and that's plenty spicy for most.

I have been using haidilao's and little sheep's soup base for years and they were really good. This one does not have the prominent flavour of the signature szechuan spice that I expected.

Excellent taste. Made with beef broth and with chicken broth. Prefer chicken broth although both were good. Ice and spicy ! Will definitely be getting this again !!

I wanted to love it and it smelled just like the hot pot restaurant but the numbing sensation was so intense it was hard to enjoy it past the first couple bites.

A little goes a long way with this base. I use it in ramen, rice, and many times in spicy seafood. It is so packed with spice and it's nicely done with only a small amount needing to be used at a time. The flavor is amazing and I highly recommend it for those who like spicy food. If you're not into spice, maybe sit this one out.

This Sichuan hot pot soup base tastes very authentic and full of flavour. The spice level is perfect and has that classic Szechuan kick without being overwhelming. It’s easy to prepare and creates a rich, aromatic broth that’s great with meat, seafood, and vegetables. Definitely feels like proper Chinese hot pot at home. Would happily buy again! 🌶️🍲

Sehr guter,authentischer Geschmack! Aber Achtung mit der Dosierung! Vorsichtig herantasten ,zuerst sehr kleine Teile nutzen und langsam erhöhen,die ist doch recht scharf!
